In my eight years of experience as a personal trainer, I noticed that many of my client's "weight loss issues" were not about eating or exercise, but rather altering their lifestyle, thought patterns and behaviors. As a health, fitness and wellness professional, it is my goal to 1. help you identify the problem, 2. address the problem with the necessary tools, skills and knowledge that I hold and 3. teach you the necessary tools, skills and knowledge, so that you can sustain these new behavior implementations as well as identify future obstacles and select the appropriate skills to overcome challenges.
I hold a variety of fitness certifications including my 200 hr RYT, BS in Kinesiology and I am currently working on my Master's in Clinical Exercise Physiology degree . I have taught hundreds of group fitness classes as well as had thousands of hours of experience working with clients. I specialize in working with women focusing on weight loss and strength training, and clinical populations. I have worked with clients who have suffered from back surgeries, knee surgeries, shoulder surgeries, sciatica, cancer, plantar fasciitis, arthritis, obesity, stroke, paralysis, neuropathy, cardiac related issues , hypothyroidism, diabetes and hypertension. I have experience training individuals pre/ post -natal, in addition to working with the older population 80+.
I believe that when working with clients, I am taking the journey with them. I check in with clients regularly, sending motivational videos, reminders and accountability txts. Though the main purpose of training
sessions is to exercise and teach clients
exercise knowledge, it is also a time for clients to reflect upon their thoughts, habits
and behavior pattens. It is through training sessions that we discuss the challenges of
life and how we can modify ourselves to overcome difficult times, behaviors or lifelong struggles. Taking part in the " exercise "behavior multiple times a week
allows us to train the body mentally as it does physically. We all deserve to meet the greatest version of ourself. Every client is
