Introduction: You have the option of having piano lessons at the teacher's or student's home. Students love taking piano lessons, and the students love their teacher. They have the most unstressful and most successful music education experience ever. This teacher has taught many excellent piano methods and can tailor lessons to the student's age, skill level and interest. Lessons include learning how to study classical, jazz, popular and sacred music. Students have fun learning about how to read, interpret, and play the piano in making music. Student's have a standing appointment (30, 45, or 60 minutes) with their teacher. They learn how to play the piano, along with learning about how to study piano and what kind of strategies make for effective and efficient practice. They know how to practice, and they have a great deal of input in to what kind of music they learn. A conservatory-level music professor, this teacher holds a master's degree in music — music pedagogy — and 35 years of experience teaching students of all ages and stages. Scheduling is flexible, and rates are reasonable. I have many years of professional performance in piano and organ. Students have the performing opportunities to play on recitals.
