Introduction

Mount Mechanix, L.L.C was founded August 8th, 2020. We are based out of Durham, NC “Bull City”. We are a family owned/managed business. I am Jalil Allen the CEO/Head Mechanix; I have been in the TV installation industry since 2012. I started out small just mounting my own personal televisions. After I completed my first job, I was hooked and I knew this was something that I wanted to do. Since then, I have mounted TV’s for a number of family, friends and friends of friends. This year I started my business so that I can bring A1 service to customers all over Durham, Raleigh, and surrounding areas. We offer a host of services that will take your television viewing experience to the next level. Whether it’s a tv mounting job or having us install and setup peripheral equipment we have you covered; we even install shelving! Here at Mount Mechanix, we pride ourselves on customer service and seeing your vision through to the end. We look forward to hearing from you.

J was very professional and knowledgeable about his craft. He provided suggestions and was able to get creative when mounting my tv over the fireplace. So much as to remount it several times until we got the tv exactly where I wanted!

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started mounting TVs in 2012, I moved in my first apartment and wanted to mount my new TV. I had to borrow some tools and call a family member to get it done. I enjoyed it and been mounting TVs since.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I recently mounted a TV over a stone fireplace. We had to remove some of the stone to mount the TV securely. It took us 2-3 hours to complete.
