The Dog Training Pro
Most of my clients are folks who simply care about their dogs, and can recognize when a problem is arising and heads the problem off quickly by bringing in a professional to help them.
If there is a person who gets paid doing what he loves, it would be Christopher of Dogs Anonymous. He simply loves working with dogs. Clients love it when they have him for basic obedience training in combination with behavior modification for their dogs.
The most effective strategy I try to keep in mind for customer satisfaction is to treat each case individually. There is no single plan for dealing with unwanted canine behavior and more often than not, it's the people who have to change in order to affect real behavioral change in their dog.
His favorite project was Lola, an English bulldog who was both aggressive as much as overly excited and had bitten her owner's mother. After two sessions, Lola's aggressions were a thing of the past. Now, her owner brings Christopher in regularly to help integrate foster dogs into her pack.
A small problem can become huge. Consider Dogs Anonymous now!
