About
We are committed to our local community. We have been serving the Triad area since 1997 and believe we serve the area with quality and great pricing like no one else.
I love the challenge of finding a problem and solving it. I love satisfying my customers and doing what others say can't be done. I love being an electrician so I'm very good at it and expect the same quality from anyone who works for me.

Highly recommend Steel Electric Company! Their rates are extremely reasonable, and I was so impressed with how quickly they were able to come out—same day, within just a few hours of reaching out. They completed everything efficiently and quickly while still taking the time to explain what was going on and walk me through my options. I never felt pressured, and I really appreciated the straightforward communication and practical recommendations. Great service, fair pricing, and incredibly responsive. I’ll absolutely use them again for any future electrical work!

He did wonderful work installing a fan in my home and fixing our idiot proof light in the bathroom (I seriously could NOT figure it out!) He was later than he thought, but I’m not going to dock his work based on handling an emergency over my faninstall (especially since I noted we were in no rush) He also gave great advice about how to handle another issue we have.

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge a basic rate for service calls which is 90.00 plus NC state tax. However it is NOT for just showing up. it pays for your first hour of service and usually within that time if I don't resolve the issue, a game plan is made and a fixed price is set.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically, I meet the customer and assess the situation. I communicate the issues I see and how the problem can be resolved. if its troubleshooting or repairs I give my estimate and make the necessary repairs. If this is a bigger project and we agree on the price, I retain a deposit and begin the proceedings to work. The remaining payment is due upon completion of the job.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes. The state contracting board requires that I keep up with continuing education hours yearly as a requirement to keep my license.
