This was our first experience with hiring American Moving and Hauling Inc. We have used other moving companies in the past around the triad and our experience with American Moving was by far the best! Their two movers were very professional, respectful and efficient. They treated all of our belongings with great respect and care in both loading and unloading the truck. In my 3 past moving experiences this company was the first to get through a move without damaging any of our furniture as well as their techniques on protecting and maneuvering our things down and up stairs was executed perfectly. I would highly recommend this company to anyone that is looking for help with their moving processes in and around the triad.
moving is always a stressful time, & i have had to move a lot over the years (due to my career) but i must say this last move was by far the most pleasant of all. i researched & spoke with several moving companies, & Winston-Salem Moving & Storage was a Great choice to go with!! Chad Stewart was very helpful & his prices were by far the Best!! this was a almost last minute move & Chad was able to fit my needs. His staff members, Mike, William, & Chad B, were on time, very polite, very careful, very hardworking & showed Great team-men-ship!!! they never once complained & i have a lot of heavy & large furniture. if it were possible i would rate them 10 stars!!! & will call on them again when i need anything moved!! John and his team at Faith and Glory Movers were phenomenal. I hired John and his team a week before my move so it was short notice but he was very accommodating and insisted he would make time to help with the move. On the move day John said that he would be at my house at 8:30 and arrived promptly on time. After arrival John and his team quickly went to work and didn't waste any time starting the process. They were fast and efficient and made the entire experience very easy for me and my girlfriend. They wrapped all the furniture to ensure that there were no damages and we're very careful while moving things out of the house. The thing I like most about this experience was that I informed John I was on a budget and needed to have the move done within a certain time frame. I was skeptical but to my surprise John and his team was able to move and stay within the time frame that I have provided. This was a great experience and I would recommend Faith and Glory Movers to anyone looking for a reliable moving company. I will definitely be using John again in the future.
Jonathan did An amazing job.we are satisfied with moving the piano. I called many companies they charged too much to move the piano and Jonathan is reasonable and reliable.
Shaverstone has done two stone projects for me, a retaining wall that looks dry-stacked but is actually mortared with a broad top for sitting, and a flagstone patio/walkway. The retaining wall looks beautiful, even nicer than I had hoped and has been in place for several years now with no problems at all. The flagstone walkway included solving a major drainage problem. Shaverstone had to remove several tons of clay soil, then install a gravel bed, a French-drain system that routed water to a dry well in the backyard, then more gravel. The flagstone was then laid on top with polymer sand which locks the flagstones in place but allows water to permeate through to the drain system. It was a complicated, heavy job, but Shaverstone did it wonderfully. We have not had any drainage problems since this was done, and the flagstone patio/walkway gets compliments all the time. It is beautiful. Shaverstone has also done a couple of other smaller jobs for us, another drainage problem in a different area--solved, and a rain garden where the downspout water is routed and then soaks into the ground instead of running off. We have been very happy with Shaverstone. They have done exactly what we asked and have always done a beautiful job, always more beautiful than we had hoped.
There was a hiccup in scheduling initially, but, once that was worked out, everything went great. The moving crew was professional and knew just how to move a 600lb piano down stairs that included a twist at the bottom. I would recommend Ahlgrens for moving pianos and other big furniture. The value could not be beat.
I would absolutely use this service again - Larry has been in the piano moving business for 10 years and certainly knows what he is doing. The movers were prompt, professional, and very efficient.
If I could give 10 stars I would give this company 10 stars . Luis was extremely professional in every way. Luis and his crew were always on time and they came in and got the job done in a timely manner just as he quoted. He stayed at the price that he quoted from the start of the job. We are hiring him for other jobs for our home in the near future. He is honest and can't be beat for the beautiful work he does . He is also very friendly. His helper Matt knows what he needs done and it's like they read each other's minds when it comes to the jobs they do. Awesome teamwork and I am going to give them a 10??????????
We cannot thank Majic Mover, LLC enough for their recent help moving from NC to PA. Our original "five-star" moving company completely dropped the ball on our move, never showing up and pushing off the pick-up day multiple times. Out of desperation, I looked for help through Thumbtack, and Derrick and his team came to our rescue. Derrick went out of his way to rearrange his schedule in order to help us and also to put us at ease. He even met with us in person at the last minute despite his busy schedule. His team of movers had our stuff picked up in NC and delivered safely and soundly to PA all within one day. Words cannot express the relief that came from working with Majic Mover after the incompetence we encountered at other moving companies!
Ed and his partner, Ed, did a great job for us today. My job was somewhat unique in that it was moving a large entertainment center into my garage and moving a new large chest where the other piece had been. Both were heavy, awkward pieces, but they handled the challenge well. I would use them again!
