Jeremiah M. says, "STOP. Your search is over. DONE. Simply calling Alex a "teacher" and labeling the time I spent with Alex "lessons" just isn't fair at all to the definitions of those words - because what I encountered with this guy is ABOVE AND BEYOND any lessons I've ever had. Learning from him was a true EXPERIENCE that was driven by his unparalleled passion for guiding my skill set to a completely different level. The guy is truly inspiring. With other teachers, practicing between lessons was a last minute thing that I would reluctantly cram into my week (typically minutes before my next lesson) just so I wouldn't look like an idiot for my next lesson. But with Alex, practice sincerely became a priority in my life. Alex instills his enthusiasm and passion into every lesson which stuck with me LONG after the lesson was over. I'm the best guitar player I have ever been because of Alex. YOUR TURN."See more

Anna L. says, "I've been taking lessons with Ian for over 7 years now. We started in person on ukulele. A year in, Covid came along and we shifted to virtual. I figured I would miss the in person lessons but virtual has been amazing and now I know they can be great if done well- which he does. And it's also nice to not have to leave the house! We have a shared Dropbox folder. He sends files to see and read and even recordings to practice along with in between lessons. Also, a couple years ago, I wanted to shift to guitar and so we did and it was seamless. He took much of what I learned on ukulele and used it to help me understand the guitar better. I still take lessons with Ian to this day and I couldn't recommend him more!"See more
