Do yourself a favor and look no further than Epps Bistro for your personal chef experience! Terique is the best. Hands down. He is quick to respond, takes his time planning a menu according to your likes and allergies, and works with you according to your budget. He was on time, actually early, to cook for us. And the food! You're in for a treat. We had steak, salmon, and shrimp and grits. All three of these entrees were cooked to absolute perfection! We also had the mac and cheese, which is delicious. Terique not only cooked for us, but talked to us about the history of the city we were visiting (Durham, NC). After cooking, he cleaned the kitchen and left it cleaner than it was when he got to the house. Overall, Terique is the bomb! We will definitely reach out to him again for his culinary expertise!

Amazing! We had a small get together if 6 - we requested a variety of items, 5 apps, 2 different entrees and sides. Chef T was able to prepare it all with ease - and everything was PERFECT!! The food was delicious (I mean - DELICIOUS!!) and really made our evening fun and memorable. Thank you Chef for a excellent experience - we will definitely do this again!

My first in home dining experience with Terique Epps(Personal/Private Chef) exceeded expectations. Mr. Epps was very good with details as he patiently and thoroughly assisted me in planning to host a private dinner for two. Mr. Epps ease, comfort level and compatibility for working with two people that he just met was exceptional. The atmosphere set by Mr. Epps while preparing the food was relaxing, inviting, informative and interactive. The confidence demonstrated by Mr. Epps in preparing the food was like poetry in motion. From the soup, salad, to the main course and the desert every bite taken was delicious and satisfying to the palate. The lamb chops and shrimp were succulent to the taste. The bread pudding topped with a home made glazed pecan sauce was the best that I have eaten. The serving portions were filling and satisfying. Not only did Mr. Epps successfully prepare the meal in my home and kitchen that was new to him; he also left the kitchen clean, dishes washed and everything in place. This was my first private dinner experience but it will not be my last. Personal Chef Terique Epps helped to make it one of the most memorable, enjoyable, fun, enchanting, delightfully pleasing and satisfying experiences that my guest and I have had. I look forward to hosting other private dinners coordinated, planned and prepared by Mr. Terique Epps.

I will prepare a customized menu with affordable pricing for our services. I do provide discounts for repeat customers.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We establish a meeting to discuss the menu for the client and work out a budget for the event. After the menu and the budget is agreed upon we get to work!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have traveled all over the world (Chile, Thiland, Italy, Greece, France, and Africa) for profesional development. Every year I travel to a different parts of the world to cook with local chefs. I have a deep and insatiable desire to always learn more and try new things which I feel keeps my menus fresh, varied and never boring.
