About

For each visit for our dog clients, we will go on a nice walk, give fresh water, feed as requested, have playtime, and give lots of love and attention. For our cat clients, we will feed, give fresh water, scoop litter, have playtime, and give lots of love and attention. We offer 30-minute, 45-minute, and one hour visits. In addition, we offer live-in and overnight care. We have experience caring for pets from a young age all the way to when they're seniors. We have a client communication, scheduling, and invoicing portal and real-time visit notes including pictures are emailed to you after each visit :) We are an insured and bonded company and all of our sitters complete a background check as part of the hiring process. Keeping Pets Happy at Home on their normal schedule and routine and having many satisfied and repeat customers. We really enjoy seeing all the different breeds of pets and caring for them, big or small, we LOVE them all!!!

I love Raleigh Pet Sitters. I've been using Cindy's services for the past four years. I have two cats, one of whom does not do well going to the vets because of previous health issues. Being able to have them stay in the comfort of their own home was the number one reason I looked for a pet sitting service. I am so happy I found Raleigh Pet Sitters! Cindy is so thorough in her initial meeting, that felt so comfortable in not just leaving my pets, but letting a stranger in to my home. They take the time to get to know your animals on their terms. I love the two ladies that have watched my two trouble makers over the years. I love that I always come home to these lovely little notes and activity reports. They take my contacts and leave their number, but they don't contact you unless you contact them. I can be a bit of a worry wort and they happily respond to my texts of "all good" and humor this crazy cat lady. The price is so reasonable and I've found myself not using my pets as an excuse not to travel anymore. I really cannot say enough good things about Raleigh Pet Sitters.

I've used Cindy and her team at Raleigh Pet Sitters for more than 2 years to take care of my dog Shooter. I'm a bit of a worrying mommy and they treat him just like they would if he was theirs. I know I'm leaving him in great hands when I travel and he's so much happier than in a kennel.

When we moved to Raleigh, one of our main concerns was who we would find to watch our dog when we go away on vacations. From asking around our building downtown, we found that Raleigh Pet sitters actually walks quite a few dogs in our building. Before our first time using the service, Cindy came to our place to meet us and our pitbull, which of course put my mind at ease for 2 reasons. 1- we wanted to know who is caring for our baby, and 2- who is going to be in our home. In the past year and a half , we have had Ariel, who unfortunately has moved on to greener pastures, but thankfully replaced by Jessie who is just awesome with Isys! We have gone away about a half of a dozen of times, with no worries or concerns while we are away. I especially love the notes that they leave us about how every walk went while we were away, and love the pictures that get sent to me of her playing outside. Thank you Raleigh Pet Sitters!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing is not really complicated, we do FREE Consults to meet you, your pets, interact with them, get keys, & you meet your assigned pet sitter. $20 per 30min visit that is for up to 2 animals - each additional pet over 2 pets is $2 per visit. We offer a discounted rate of $18 per walk for our mid-day walk clients who use us weekly for Monday through Friday walks. We have a lot of regular mid-days that love this service & they can have a life after work again and not worry about rushing home. Live-in Pet Care - $110 a day Overnights - $85 a night - arrive around 5pm for dinner, leave to see other pet sitting pets for an hour or 2 depending on the sitters schedule, back by 9pm for last potty break and spend the night. The next AM your sitter will feed and give a good walk then leave your home by 7:30 or 8am depending on their schedule.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We do a FREE Consult to meet them and their pet and get to know the routines and where things are around their home.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We take a Pet First Aid / CPR class every other year to stay up on things. We also offer training for our employees on topics such as safety, how to prevent leashing pulling, etc.
