An experienced, caring, compassionate dog trainer. Definitely recommend.
Execellan help at a fraction of the price. I looked into other trainers that cost 10 times as much for the same advice. Regardless of who you use, if you are not willing to put in the work your dog will not get the training needed. All my boys have a hand now in training our dog and she has accepted the training and each day becomes more behaved than the day before.
Very "down to earth" dog trainers. They use appropriate correction and positive reinforcement. Best of all, we could tell they really enjoyed our dogs
Packman Dog Walking & Better Behavior is AWESOME! The "Better Behavior" is in there for a reason. Not only is Frank a great dog walker, he is also an excellent and effective dog trainer. The concept of combining walking and training is genius - I only wish I had found Packman Dog Walking sooner! I have an 2 y.o. 80lb mixed breed pup. In general, he is well behaved but there were some behaviors that I had just learned to "live with" - i.e. pulling on the leash, barking when the doorbell rings and not always listening when I say "come." We had tried most of the "puppy classes" and trainers in the area and spend a lot of money without much success. Amazingly, within 15 minutes of meeting Captain, Frank had him sitting quietly greeting the postman at our front door. In addition to his excellent dog training, Frank is unique in that he has a keen understanding of dog psychology. Before finding Packman, I was sending my dog to a few different "doggy daycare" facilities in the area. Unfortunately, on a few occasions, my dog came home with cuts and limps and acting out of character. I don't fault these facilities (it is impossible to keep your eye on 20 dogs at one time...), but Frank has offered a great alternative way to socialize my dog in a setting where there is always a human in control. No matter how many dogs Frank is walking, he is always aware of each dog and is therefore able to facilitate healthy, fun socialization. I have a fitness tracker on my dog and I've noticed he gets the same amount of activity in a 1-2hr walk with Frank as he did when he spent a whole day at a daycare facility. Furthermore, Frank is incredibly professional. There is a great deal of trust involved in letting someone into your home while you are not there. Frank has been professional, responsive and respectful of my house and roommates on each and every occasion he has been here. I am at ease knowing that my dog and my home are in great hands while I am working.
I'm so impressed with Off Leask k9 and Alisa. My dog is not only so much more well behaved and obedient she is genuinely happier and more confident. Rarely do we see the dog aggression or reactivity that we used to see prior to taking these courses. Best yet- it's all OFF LEASH. Anyone can do it with trainers as excellent as these. I HIGHLY recommend them!
Gray wolf ( trainer Myke) did a great job with my lab Taz. He got her to stop jumping and to lay down. Thank you myke
Very knowledgable and professional trainer. Explained what and, more importantly, the why of this natural dog behavior based training program. While not cheap, I think it is a very worthwhile investment for insuring my 8-week-old German Shepherd Sophie will be the great companion dog I want her to be. She and I have a trainer for life and we will have another visit when she is 6 months old.
We are expecting our first child in September. We have five dogs and heavily involved in rescue. It is our job as a parent and responsible dog owner to make sure our dogs are properly prepared to welcome a new child into our home and do so safely. We were referred to Jennifer by our normal dog trainer who we have used for 9 years. Not only has Jennifer been incredibly helpful via phone and email but the in home consultation was amazing. She has a lot of dog behavior knowledge and really impressed us with her calm behavior with our dogs (some of which are reactive to strangers). She has offered us lots of methods to prepare ourselves and our dogs for the new baby. She has also provided me (the mom) with advice on just dealing with the struggles/worries of pregnancy and mother hood. I strongly recommend her to anyone with pets that are expecting a child or already have children and dogs. I tell all of my friends about her and constantly post her link on facebook. If only more people would use her service and follow her advice, I think we would have less children bitten by dogs.
I worked with Alex for years, if you want the best bond and training for your dog, look no further.
I had a red-zone young dog and had gone through numerous trainers who could not make him stop attacking everyone...he was very aggressive. Stacy was a God-send. She very quickly won his trust and immediately helped him and me. She worked with us with care and expertise and I shall always be beholding to her for saving my dog. It is nine years later and he is one of the greatest dogs I have ever had...thanks to Stacy's magic.
I have used other trainers for other pets and Alvin is among the best. He learns your dogs personality and teaches how to reward train. My dog, Desi, is a bit shy and slow to learn. He is doing things I never thought he would learn. Alvin is patient in training the person as well as the dog, since most problems are with the human not the dog. I highly recommend Quality Pet Solutions-I will probably use him for further training. I give 5 stars. Desi and Peggy P. 8/24/15
Excellent dog trainer! My dog came back to me smarter than ever and he listens to all of my commands. Could not be happier! She is highly recommended!
Carolyn is a great trainer. I saw a difference with my dog after the first training session. My dog has anxiety and gets aggressive when she is anxious loves to work with Carolyn. She has been very helpful with training and giving information on working with my dog. Highly recommend her to others.
Peter was great. He was very thorough and really focused on what we needed help with our puppy. He is knowledgable and worked with teaching our whole family (kids included) how to train our puppy. He was very affordable and best of all the techniques he taught us are working!!!
Aideen worked for me as a training assistant for several years. She is a highly capable and skilled trainer. Aideen has the rare quality among dog trainers of being equally kind to people as well as their dogs.
My 2-year-old Lab Mix Bailey is a pretty well-behaved pup, but it was time to start working on more advanced skills. Her recall was great inside the yard, but not so on the outside of that fence. As she got older we had to worry less about her bolting out the door, but we couldn't trust her to stay inside if the door wasn't immediately closed. As my husband and I planned to expand our family from fur babies to human babies we wanted to work on these skills, along with some others before the stress of bringing our first child into the world. I had such a hard time finding a trainer that uses science-based training methods so imagine my relief when I found Kassondra. With her help and plenty of consistency, Bailey's recall is getting much better though we're not ready for work outside the yard just yet. She waits at doors before going out and I no longer worry that she will scoot by us as we're coming in with a bag of groceries. Recently, I was able to open the door for guests while she waited on her bed. Kassondra has been absolutely wonderful to work with. I love that she helps you train the dog that you want, not the dog anyone thinks you should have. She asked me what kind of goals I had for Bailey and my family and worked to accomplish those goals. I recommend her to anyone looking for a dog trainer and I'm looking forward to working with her again.
Anna was wonderful with helping my dog not pull on the leash as well as, other behaviors which needed correction like jumping and crate training. My dog loved her and I would recommend her as your dog trainer!
I provide in-home training one dog/handler at a time! It's a training session not an hourly price. No treats or clickers, prong or shock, gentle leader type collars. Why yell at the dog when you can learn how to whisper. Don't drive all over town for 4-8 weeks to wait a turn in class. Save time, money, and gas.
I go to the clients in their homes or other locations as needed
My approach will save you well over a thousand dollars! Sending your dog away to work with a trainer can easily cost $2000 for simple obedience. The stress induced by sending your dog away to be trained with harsh, aversive techniques can cause unwanted psychological and physical symptoms. In my 20 years of experience, I have NEVER met a dog that was well behaved simply because he knew obedience commands. 100% of the adult dogs I see are well versed in obedience, yet they all have behavioral issues. If simple obedience is the answer, why do all of our dogs have these problems? Why pay for multiple visits when you can see real results in 1? Furthermore, why pay someone else to bond with your dog? My training will make you more knowledgeable, more confident and more successful than ever in effectively managing your dog’s behavior. My easy to apply methods will transform your dog into the dog you've always wanted. My goal is simple. I want to be the last dog trainer you'll ever need to hire for any reason!
K9 Knight's has great pricing and we offer great quality work. We want dogs to love enjoy training but also be obedient. We also study the health of dogs also. We offer video's and pictures on K9 Knight's Dog Training's Facebook page to show are work but we never put corrections in are video's due to the fact people might try to mo'clock what we do and end up abusing a dog. Each dog is different so we don't always do the same with each dog.
