My daughter played in the NCAA National Championship this past December thanks to Patty’s diligence working us through the collegiate athletic scholarship recruitment process! With Patty’s methodical consulting style, it was almost as easy as 1, 2, 3! 1. Timing is key when working through the steps, and we had some catching up to do! Patty patiently worked with us, explaining the NCAA recruiting guidelines, and a protocol she knew would bring our greatest opportunity for success. 2. Next, we needed to post Haleigh on the various websites for college coaches to research her statistics and view video feed. Patty trained us on how to convert video from my old Sony recorder, and load it right onto the website, as well as creating a youtube link for her various match clips that we could email to coaches.3. She coached our daughter on the conversation style to use with college coaches, and how to initiate the first contact. Most importantly, her enthusiasm gave my daughter the confidence to make the call. The result of her generous gift of time to help us to accomplish this daunting recruitment process was that my daughter received 25 + scholarship offers and were invited to visit several. She’s a starting freshman now for the University of Wisconsin Badgers and loving life as a college athlete at a top university. THANKS PATTY!!!!!

Patty Benda has worked for me for the last five years on a part-time basis. She is now ready to "spread her wings" and go into business for herself full-time. I will miss her professionalism, organizational skills and talent as a designer with my firm. She is especially gifted at putting rooms together (accessorizing, purchasing, staging,....). She has a great eye for design and I will miss the way she can "layer" a room with both new and existing pieces, making a home feel warm and welcoming, not like everything was purchased from the same store (too matchy-matchy). She really has that eclectic touch thats hard to teach - she just has it! I would highly recommend her for any interior project.

FAQs

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

When I was deciding to go back to work after raising my children, I wanted to do something that was totally "me." Concierge work is "in my wheelhouse," because I have so many different and interesting skill sets. I love all people, and I am a "people pleaser."

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

I would say, give people a chance. If you are "on the fence" about hiring someone, try to talk to them before you decide against them. Remember, something about them made you consider them in the first place, right? :)
