Introduction: Put In Order was established in 2006, in Pennsylvania; now serving the NC area, out of my strong passion and commitment a make a difference. Being organize reduces stress and frustration, as well as, saves time and money. There is no right or wrong approach to organize your space, files, memorabilia and other projects (i.e. stamp collection value research; organizing and reviewing sales records for tax filing). Together we can create your unique system/process giving you a clutter-free organized life at home and the office. Put In Order, effective in 2023, also organizing "virtually". Via videoconferencing, we work with you side by side as though with you in person. We begin with decluttering. While organizing, together we create your unique system/process to aid in maintaining organization. Session fee $35 per hour, minimum 2-hour session. Virtual hours as early as 7 am and as late as 10 pm to accommodate your busy schedule. Another benefit, you have full control over what and when you want areas of your home to be seen.

I am enjoying my experience working with Put in Order. I've felt comfortable and relieved to see the many accomplishments made in my decluttering and organizing progress. I came in apprehensive, embarrassed and not sure if it was going to be worth my time and finances. Believe you me, I can sing the praises for Put in Order a.k.a Ms. Gwen. I love her patience , professionalism, and gentle yet subtle encouraging manner in getting me to see why I don't need 6 cake boxes or my many hard disks with no computer to read them on. She is a gem and helping to educate me in how to put things in order so I can enjoy and open up my home with family and friends.

Gwen was timely and encouraging without being judgmental. Who knew I had so many clothes to purge (okay, I kind of knew). But her approach was gentle and allowed me to be decisive without pressure. We met virtually, completed the work in the moment and even came up with a to do list to work on for the next meeting. Her methods are gentle yet firm, concise yet comprehensive. If you need a gentle push to help you purge, organize and guide you on your journey of decluttering Gwen is the one to call.

I never thought organizing and decluttering would be fun but that's how my experience was when working with Gwen. She's very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. Working with her felt like two friends hanging out and having fun going through things. She had great suggestions on how to weed out things plus she asked thought provoking questions that helped me make better decisions on how to weed and organize my items. I really liked the fact that she was patient with me, allowing me time to make important decisions regarding organizing and decluttering my belongings. Also, her rates are great, definitely not to high but in my opinion, too low for the work she does. I highly recommend Put In Order for anyone who is looking for someone who's great to work with, knowledgeable, cares about your input, and helps you make decisions that you're comfortable with.

Gwen helped me to accomplish, a clutter free garage. It was quite the mess after even a year of move. She is an amazing person, patient, understanding, non judgmental and very easy to connect too. We worked together for 3 hrs, she kept me focused and on task. I am so pleased with the results. I will be a repeat customer.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Hourly Hands-On rate $35. Minimum 2 hours per session.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Your organizing experience begins with a free up to one hour Preliminary Needs Assessment (NA) session to learn about your specific project and or clutter challenges. The NA will give the information needed to design your customized system/process to meet your organizing goal.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My years as an administrative assistant and analyst enhanced my organizing skills, along with attention to detail and problem solving. I have attending some of the NAPO (formerly National Association of Professional Organizers) programs and will be pursuing certification.
