The private investigator we worked with from Secure Investigators was very polite, attentive, and responsive - a true professional. At every step of the way, he made sure we were updated and given options. His genuine concern put us at ease and proved that he had our best interests in mind. He was very good about laying out the plans and managing expectations. He checked in often and made it easy for us to step back and let him do his job. The last part is the toughest part because it's easy to worry that you'll be caught or an investigation will turn up no results. It's a lot of money to spend but the peace of mind is worth it. These guys all seem to be very thorough and experienced. What was particularly impressive is how well-connected our investigator was. He had enough contacts everywhere to gather information and have extra eyes and ears everywhere. It was like being in an old Nancy Drew or Hardy Boys model - it was more thrilling than scary, and I'm a worry wart so that's saying something. Definitely would use their services again but, hopefully, I won't have to. Highly recommended.

I've been going through a legal battle with someone and needed to get as much information on him. My lawyer recommended Floyd to help me out with my case so I went along with it. I had never hired a private investigator before, so I did not know what to expect in terms of services, cost, etc. Floyd was very patient and accommodating to all my questions and concerns. If you need information on anyone, Floyd is the person you want! I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of information he was able to obtain in a short amount of time.

I knew Floyd Greenwood as an associate with Powers Detective Agency as a Private Investigator for fifteen years. Floyd is an expert in surveillance, both stationary and mobile. His integrity, professionalism and attention to detail ensures the client receives the best possible outcome to their case. Floyd is very honest, reliable, and extremely well in in maintaining communications while on an assignment. His detailed investigations were always done in a timely manner, providing a detailed report that was always well written. His experience as a Labor Investigator was always a valuable asset to our firm, especially in the investigation of corporate accounts. On one particular case through which I knew him his investigation involved theft in the workplace. Floyd resolved the case in less than twenty-four hours. He assisted the client with the legal proceeding which resulted in conviction for the perpetrator. Powers Detective is no longer involved in private investigation, therefore all inquires requesting of a private investigator are referred to his firm Secure Investigators, Inc.

It's been amazing working with Floyd. I had a very complicated child custody case, where hard evidence was needed to prove that my ex was drinking and driving. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Yes, each potential case is very unique and different. Therefore, during the initial consultation I will explain in detail the pricing system to the client and what information, material, etc...are included in that price.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Initial phone or in person consultation which is free of charge. During the consultation the potential client will be able to explain their need and circumstances which has lead them to seek a private investigation services. I am then able to explain in detail how I can be a service to the potential client.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
- Bachelor's Degree in Political Science - 31 years as a Senior Investigator with the North Carolina Department of Labor - 7 years as a Compliance Investigator with the Virginia Department of Taxation - 3 years as an Investigator for the North Carolina Department of Child Support - 26 years as a licensed Private investigator
