Gary is an incredibly talented guitar teacher who really inspires his students, both in terms of building a love for music and in terms of exploring their creativity. He is really easy to get along with and makes the lessons fun, interesting, and challenging, and totally adapted to the particular student's needs. My daughter has taken lessons from him for 4 years, starting from the time she was 8. Gary also has a great recording studio, and he not only recorded a number of the songs that my daughter wrote, but did an amazing job working with me on creating all the backing tracks, for which he played all of the instruments. He also played the instruments and recorded used his studio to do all of the recording and sound mixing for a music video that was done for a song my daughter wrote, that was a major production with a cast of over 150 people. I also briefly took lessons (but have a very strong musical background), but had to stop due to work commitments. I have seen that he has an ability to teach very diverse music styles. Gary is also an amazing musician, and he is a great guy who is really dedicated to his work and his students. I highly recommend him for students of all ages.

Gary is an incredible musician and very knowledgable. Beyond that he is a great teacher; very good at breaking down complex ideas and components of music and making them very simple. It helps that he's a bad ass on guitar (and other instruments) but his skill sets as an instructor are what set him apart. 2 very big thumbs up! If you're trying to learn as a beginner or just hone your already developed skills I would highly suggest getting some lessons from Gary.

Gary makes learning the guitar fun. He makes lessons for the songs my son wants to learn. I'm impressed with the progress our son has made in less than a year. I highly recommend Gary.
