    Still have a laptop running Vista that maybe he can speed up.
    We were never able to get together but it ended up saving us both time and money. It turned out that the system my neighbor was not upgradable.

    Our computer was hacked and chuck full of viruses. Chris from CJ Computer services came out and cleaned our computer, made sure everything was functioning correcting and provided valuable advice on our computer operations to avoid major problems in the the future. If we have any future issues we will certainly bring Chris back to help. And oh yes, the price was very reasonable.

    What a great job! I couldn't afford a new lap top and mine is 8 years old. It's slowed down quite a bit over the years, and half the time I need to open something it freezes right in the middle and I have to shut my computer off the wrong way. Afraid a full on crash is coming, which would devastate me, I called up CJ's and he not only fixed it right away, but it was at a price I could easily afford and now it's running like new again! I never thought I would see that again. It's been so long I forgot what that was like, and it feels great. Thank you so much CJ's!

    Chris was timely, knowledgeable and responsive. He addressed our concerns in the office about our computers and gave us some valuable education about security measures and maintenance.     We just had a great experience with CJ Computer Service. Chris came out in a timely fashion, quickly diagnosed and fixed our computer problems. He followed up and made sure that things were operating properly. Price, service, and system knowledge were all outstanding.

    The owner was very rude to me. He came to me on facebook when I asked for help with my computer. All he said was "you need a computer guy." When I asked if he was one, he just wrote "yes dear." It took me 3 or 4 correspondences to see if he would fix my computer, but he never would answer me. I found that strange. When I said "what would it take to get me to fix my computer," he said "that's a loaded question." I decided not to go with this guy and looked for other vendors. I stumbled on Thumbtack, and they sent my request to CJ Computers, not knowing I already had this strange experience. It wasn't Thumbtack's fault at all. I spoke with the owner on the phone, and he said it was impossible to fix. He wrote it in thumbtack that no vendor would touch me, as it was impossible to fix. I found a professional computer shop who fixed the problem. I wrote to him and said that the problem was fixed, and then he called me juvenile. I just thought everyone should know about this guy. I am shocked he has received 5 stars, but I know ratings can be fixed.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We try to keep our rates as low as possible folks. Most of the time we can offer our customers a much more affordable one time flat fee price instead of an hourly charge. This is especially true if we can pull machine and work on it in our offices. We try to keep our customers happy at all times and that is why they keep coming back to us!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am always reading and learning and attending seminars on technology. As an IT director my job depends on me being cutting edge and that is exactly what I am.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always had a passion for computers and a love for new gadgets. I love things with a plug and my wife reminds me of it each and every day.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Computer "tune ups", virus removals, spyware removals, server setups, data recovery, data migrations to new computers, office setups.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
Set up a massage therapist practice in Apex. Did the office on a saturday morning, client was thrilled with the level of customer service. Will always have a free massage therapy session for life!!! It is reallky great forming great business relationships with all of my customers. It is also a pleasure meeting new people and helping them with their computer issues.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Ask your computer provider for references, we have over 350 customers in the triangle area and we are so very proud of our growth.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
I possess the patience to deal with any type of customer. I am also an IT director in the triangle and I am responsible for thousands of users and computer 24/7. We get the job done right.
