I was looking for someone to clean my home the night before my realtor was suppose to show it!! Since it was a last min thing I thought the price would be ridiculously high, but luckily for me Maria from Squeaky Clean came through and cleaned my home from top to bottom without the astronomical fee. They were on time, friendly, great with pets and really went the extra mile. What surprised me the most about the work they did was the fact that they did extra work in the house without charging me, like wiping off my appliances, washing trash cans out etc. I'll definitely use Squeaky Clean again.

Denise is a wonderful pet sitter and is extremely accommodating to my pet sitting needs due to travel and work. My dog absolutely loves visiting Denise and her two wonderful dogs and she treats mine as one of her own. When using Zoomer's services, I can be rest assured that my dog is in the right hands. I never have to worry!

I offer professional pet sitting and dog walking services, a better alternative to boarding or kenneling. I come to you. Leave all the worries and fun to me. I offer the following services: - No stress for you and your pet - Staying on the normal routine - Brushing and daily walks - Medication administering - Yes! Poop scooping too For home security, I work on the following: 1. Alter window coverings and lighting and make it appear someone is home 2. Pick up newspapers and mail 3. Water plants and the yard 4. Put trash out There is no need to tell anyone you're away. I have an on-site vault or safe for keys.

I provide services to watch and housesit dogs on a limited basis at my residence. My residence has a fenced-in yard and backs up to Baldwin Field.

I very much enjoy helping people when they need someone to stay at their home and/or take care of their pets when they are out of town. My primary profession is giving piano instruction but have also worked as a Concierge, so I suppose serving others is what primarily motivates me. People trust me to give them the service they need and want.

I have loved animals for all of my life. That makes 60 some year!! I am a retired healthy, reliable lady who would not disappoint you, by being irresponsible or not taking proper care of your animals. Since I have been dealing with animals for so may years I have a body of knowledge about them that only comes with age and experience!! As far as my art experience I have been doing portraits of children. adults and pets since the 70's. I have only had in all of those years one person who was unhappy with the portrait I did for them, so I did the portrait over at no extra charge and they were very happy with the second one.

I like cleaning. I haven't had any professional experience, but I will do the best I can. I also love animals and am available for pet sitting also, and I don't mind cleaning up their messes.

I will watch your pet(s) for you while you are out of town! I am able to stay overnight if needed! I love all types of pets.

I provide house and pet sitting services. These include horse, dog, cat, cow, lamb and goat sitting, etc. I love animals, and people can go on vacation with no worries of their properties and pets.

I am a semiretired massage therapist. I do massage on Mondays and Saturdays, which leaves me with quite a bit of "downtime." I have four cats and three goats and live on an acreage. I have always have had either cats and or dogs. I love animals, and I fell in love with goats when I lived in Colorado. I now have three out of the four goats I originally had. I lost one 2 years ago. When I commit to taking care of an animal, it is until the end of life. I can only offer lots of love, attention and care to your family member.

I love large breeds and small dogs. (I currently own 2 dogs and 2 cats.) I've raised reptiles, raised show cats and worked with elephants at Henry Dorly Zoo too! I would be happy to help pet owners keep their pets healthy and happy!

Again we're about quality and integrity. People are putting trust in us with some of the most expensive items their money can buy, and we don't take that responsibility lightly.

Q & A

Answers to commonly asked questions from the experts on Thumbtack.

How much should you pay for a pet sitter?

Pet sitting provides your precious pet with in-home care. A pet-sitter can make a brief visit during the day to provide snacks, playtime or affection, or stay at your house for one or more nights to tend to your pet. Prices for pet-sitting will vary based on length of the visit. Nationally, pet sitting prices range from $20 to $30, although prices run higher for your sitter to stay the night. Prices will also be affected by where you live in the country. Here are some examples of average pet-sitting prices based on length of time and region:

  • 30-minute visit: $17 in a small Texas town.
  • 30-minute visit: $25 in Southern California.
    • 45-minute visit: $28.
    • 60-minute visit: $32.
  • Overnight stay (10 hours): $50 in Texas.
  • Overnight stay (10 hours): $85 in Southern California.
    • 12 hours: $100.
    • 24 hours: $200. This is a good option for a sick, elderly or brand-new pet that needs constant supervision.

How much does it cost to hire a house sitter?

House-sitting can be a lifesaver when you’re leaving town for any length of time. Whether you work remotely, you’re taking a much-needed vacation, or you just want to road-trip for a few days, it’s wise to have a pro keep an eye on your house and pets while you’re gone. Your home is more likely to stay safe and you won’t have to wrangle the kitty into a kennel to travel with you. The national average pet-sitting price ranges between $20 and $30. Pet-sitting and house-sitting costs will vary based on where you live in the country and regional labor rates. Another factor in cost is how long you want the house-sitter to stay. Some people prefer to have the house-sitter stay the night at their house, perhaps to care for an elderly pet or simply to keep a watchful eye on the home at all times. Overnight stays will cost more, ranging anywhere from $50 to $100, depending on services provided. For day visits, house-sitting and pet-sitting prices will increase incrementally the longer the visit and the more service you want performed. For example, a quick 10-minute visit to feed and walk the pet and bring in the mail could be $12.50, a 25-minute visit could be $18, a 40-minute visit $25, and a 50-minute visit $32.
