Introduction: Whatever the dog, whatever the issue, WE CAN HELP! We offer personalized, results-based dog training in the convenience of your own home. We are passionate about helping you have the Good Life with your best friend. We offer 3-5 week packages and do Board and Train also. Most general obedience issues can be greatly improved in 3 weeks. For the more severe issues, 5 weeks is recommended. With the 5 weeks comes a training available for the life of the dog. Ask us about it.

Aaron quickly responded to my interest in hiring a dog trainer for our 10 year old Staffshire Pit mix. Aaron was punctual for every session and very knowledgeable about training/changing a dogs behavior. Daisy was so excited the first day Aaron came to our home and that week I worked diligently with Daisy using the behavior modification tools Aaron provided and the next appointment with Aaron, Daisy was a different dog already. Aaron was always available for any training questions at any time. I would highly recommend Aaron! Thank you so much!

We reached out to Dog Training for the Good Life when our dog reacted poorly to a rescue we brought home, despite never having an issue with different dogs. I'll admit I was skeptical when we found a trainer who fit our budget and would work with our crazy schedule, but I'm impressed. We did three sessions with Aaron and even though our dogs aren't perfect, they are far better than they were before. The aggression has stopped and they appear to get along (though we're taking it slow). Our pit mix has calmed down quite a bit, and our husky mix has picked up a lot, especially considering the rescue described him as "not having indoor manners". Aaron's training was simple and straightforward, and he treated us without judgment (juggling an 8 month old, a busy husband, and two big dogs is hard!). I appreciate that he's available for questions even though we've finished our sessions. Plus, you really can't beat the price.

Aaron was easy to have in our home and comfortable to work with. We feel we achieved very good results with Bella's training. She is an older dog who was surrendered for aggression towards other dogs. She also is very protective of us and would growl and lunged at people who came to visit. Aaron shared techniques for handling her and advice on collar and leash selection that has made a definite difference on our comfort level especially when out on walks. We realize we were the actual trainees and we are going to constantly need to reinforce what we all have learned. We are looking forward to visiting Aaron's farm to get further training on any issues that may come up. We also are happy that Aaron will board Bella because he will only board dogs he has trained and we took part in a 5 week program and he feels she has progressed enough to earn that. I will be much more comfortable leaving her with him and his family than with anyone else. Thank you Aaron, I know it was a long trip to our home and you were there on time every time.

Aaron called promptly after I made my request and we discussed the situation. My dad is 65 and just got a new puppy, I wanted to make sure he knew leash training skills just so he is not pulled down the stairs eventually. Aaron spent over an hour with my incredibly shy father going over all the training tactics and left his number so my father can reach back out if he has questions. My dad was able to get his 9 month old puppy to walk on a leash the next day! Aaron offers a personalized valuable experience. I would highly recommend this company to anyone searching for a personalized training experience.
