"I have been taking lessons with Michele, learning to play using the Simply Music method, for 3 months. From day 1, Michele's command of the instrument and the method was obvious. She's been very patient, helps by speeding up (or slowing down) based on my learning pace and displays a genuine interest in my progress. Also provides schedule flexibility - I would recommend to anyone with an interest in learning to play - and the method taught is making it easier than I thought."

"I have been playing piano for quite some time now. David has helped me enhance and expand in some of my prior piano learning experiences. He listens and is patient with me. I am taking lessons from him today. "

"I have three children who are currently receiving piano instruction from Mr. Ken Soh at his New Bright Future piano studio. During the year and a half that my children have received instruction there, they have made vast improvements in their understanding of music theory, ability to read music, rhythm, and articulation. As a former professional musician myself, I believe that Ken has developed an outstanding method of instrumental instruction that places a proper emphasis on precision and correct technique that will serve his students well as they continue to advance in their abilities."

"I teach in the students' homes, and do all the shopping for books so that there is no stress for the parent. Students accelerate in their learning much more quickly than in most piano programs several factors such as being in the comfort of their own home and playing on the piano they have practiced on during the week, and the specific program designed for each student, which is tailored to their style of learning. Since I have been teaching for 26 years, I have many excellent area references. I teach all levels and all ages. I am flexible in my scheduling, so if a student is ill or has a conflict, I can usually find a make-up time the same week. I am always on time, and my students have fun working with me. I teach year-round so summer lessons are mandatory, and necessary family vacation times are credited. I love the balance of focused learning and the enjoyment that both the student and I derive from the progress. We use videotape at intervals for repertoire pieces which makes it very fun to see the progress at different time intervals. (Please understand that I do not put any videos of children on the internet. I believe that this could be dangerous. If you are interested in my teaching, my present student's parents would be happy to talk with you.)"

"Do you have a child or teenager interested in music or learning to play an instrument? Have YOU ever wanted to learn to play the piano? Have you ever felt like you were too old to start, or that your learning window has passed? The piano is a wonderful instrument for students of all ages that can be easily picked up with commitment, discipline and effort. Modern medicine has shown that learning an instrument at any age can prevent cognitive deterioration and help improve sharpness and memory in other areas of your life! A little about me: My name is Aya, I'm 21 years old and I studied music and piano performance for 6 and a half years. I have completed and passed multiple examinations from the Associated Board of the Royals Schools of Music in the United Kingdom, and music continues to be an important and fun part of my life! I would love to spread the gift of music and the joy that comes with it :) I grew up with a big family so I am great with kids and adults alike! I'm a huge believer that it is never too late to learn a new instrument or to improve upon what you already know. A little about my lessons: All lessons will go at the pace of each individual student since everyone learns at their own pace. Each lesson will be personalized towards the needs and wants of the students. The student and I will set realistic goals of where they want to be by the end of each month, and we will focus on achieving them! My teaching method incorporates music theory so that students will have the skills needed to read musical notation independently. In regards to pricing, many private piano tutors in the Omaha area are charging between $35-38+ per 30 minute interval, whereas these classes are only $30 per 30 minute interval. **IMPORTANT**: Students will be given "homework" that will be assigned between classes and are expected to make a time commitment during the course of the following week to improve upon what was covered during class time. This is to ensure that the student is doing what is needed of them in order to see improvements :) Class slots are available in 30 minute intervals from 10am to 5pm Friday - Sunday and will need to be booked at least 3 days in advance; classes are $30 for a 30 minute session in cash only; classes will be at the residence of the student*. *Residence can be anywhere as long as it is in Omaha or relatively close, otherwise gas fees may apply."

We think about it, dream about it, plan for it, and yet often find excuses or reasons to avoid taking action. My goal is to help you take little steps everyday to create overall change in your life and help you move toward your goals and dreams."

"With attention to detail from the very beginning, I have years of experience taking beginners to accomplished piano players with polished skills and understanding of what they're doing. The joy of watching new students learn the love of music and the pride of accomplishment is what I love most about what I do. The quoted prices are for when I drive to Omaha to teach; the cost is lower closer to my home. Contact me or see my website for details."
