Introduction: Education: New Hampshire Institute Of Canine Cosmetology - I have successfully completed the intermediate program that involves the basic skills required to prepare a dog for finish grooming in addition to bathing and drying techniques. I have learned about breed identification, characteristics and behavior awareness. I understand the fundamentals to assist a professional groomer demonstrating the skills needed for preparation, brush outs, nail trimming, ear cleaning and basic clipper and scissoring techniques to address most breeds, skin and behaviors. Assist in the daily duties required at A Dogs Walk Doggie Day Care such as walking dogs, cleaning play area, clipping nails and bathing. For the past year I have been running my dog waking business. I have watched my client's pets while they were away on vacation or work. I have walked their dogs, fed them, given them water, and played and loved the dogs. I have always had pets in my home and currently have a dog of my own that is very well taken care of. I have loved dogs since I was very little and have never had a dog react to me in a negative way. A lot of times people will be shocked at how well I get along with certain dogs that don’t really warm up well to others. I love every minute I’m around pets and enjoyed every time I have had and will continue to have taking care of others’ pets.
