Janete completed a "deep cleaning" for us that was fantastic. The house was transformed into a very clean, polished, and organized place. Janete also has creative ways of storing odds and ends to free up space, and de clutter. Overall, I was very happy with Janete's work and the work of her coworker.
Mike & MJ did a great job on my move. I would recommend to friends and family. They are very amicable and are willing to work with you. Great guys. They went out of their way to move me on a Sunday. They know what their doing and they just get going stuff starts flying(not literally). They were extremely careful and even put up protective blankets along all the corners, walls and hard woods to protect them. They did a good job,

My experience with Jane was to have her help me in my business organization skills and structuring my work habits to become more efficient and successful. Being somewhat disorganized, combined with having a job with almost daily UPS deliveries, it has always been challenging to stay focused and organized. Juggling things in my office, handling the constant flow of emails and literature along with spur of the moment inturruptions, I needed to find a plan that would work best for me. Jane provided guidance in removing the clutter from the office. This one adjustment provided immediate results. She said that everything in your line of sight is a distraction preventing you from staying on task. We removed everything from the floor, worked on a plan to constantly keep this in check, and put things in easily accessible storage for easy access. We also developed a plan to address the day to day process of handling emails. Scheduling the same time in the AM to work on this, and this only, kept me on task. Another improvement was to put up a white board where I could list the most important tasks and goals. Seeing this on a daily basis allows me to keep these in the forefront and not lose track of them. These adjustmens have proven very valuable and has kept me more on track, less distracted and more productive, equating to more sales! Her insights are very good and most importantly, she provides suggestions and solutions based on the way I work, not a cookie cutter approach, which I feel is a much better approach since it is doesn't go against my methods, but simply builds upon them. If you are considering enlisitng the services of someone to improve your work flow and process, I could not recommend her high enough. You will see results..

Russ and Jake dismantled and disposed of a huge hottub! On time, everything cleaned up and hauled away, even added on an old frig from my garage. They were great!

If you ever need organization, Claire Newman is the one to contact. She is great ! When she came into my cluttered "storage" room, she established clear goals based on my needs. Claire turned an overwhelming task into a doable project by "chunking" (breaking it into simpler parts) the job. She established guidelines, e.g. like items with like items, cleared off any ledges or flat surfaces, and used tools like labels to attach to clear bins, folders, and any other organizers. What I particularly liked is that she used what I had on hand. Claire also suggested "rules" to put things in places, i.e. frequently used items made easily accessible, infrequently or rarely used items, like seasonal, were also put in their places. After Claire made what I feared would be a daunting task into something fun and pleasant, she left me with a solution that is very functional and simple to maintain. I hired Shannon from Ducks in a Row as a Christmas gift to my mother to come into our home and organize it. My mom and I moved here in August 2015 and have been living among boxes ever since. I work 6 days a week and my mother is older and partially disabled so there was little to no time for unpacking boxes and setting up things properly. I decided to Google personal organizers to see if there were such a thing in my area and Thumbtack.com found a bunch of professionals who had quoted me some prices based on what I was looking for. Shannon Rothberg came with wonderful references, was licensed bonded and insured, close-by and very affordable so I decided to go with her. Easily the Best Decision that I've made! Shannon has wonderful ideas and creativity, she works very quickly and efficiently and she put my mother at ease right from the start. What she was able to accomplish in 8 hours would literally have taken me weeks to do. I came home from work to an entirely different house and it was such a relief to finally see all of the clutter gone and my mom looking relaxed and happy! My mother's bedroom, my teenage son's room, our hallway, closets and even our Christmas tree were all organized and I couldn't be more happy with the results! :-) Shannon is just lovely and I will be having her come back to unpack and organize some more rooms after the holidays. I own two high end consignment shops. Our challenges, as most retail shops, is constantly getting in new merchandise & getting it out while at the same time making it look beautiful and 'Boutique' like. We are also small in square footage - so another challenge - is putting merchandise out again making it work, removing the clutter, turning over product. That's where Cathy walks in and transforms the store. As far as being creative; she amazes me with her ideas/visions & how well she actually brings them to life. As well as, how quickly she can do a 'touch up' and make the store look so new and refreshed! In my shops it is vital to make our merchandise look as beautiful and as high end as it is. & she comes through time and time again. After, a visit to the shop - it looks better 100% but sales both on-line and in-store are increased. Customers love it and look forward to our changes & comment positively each time. She has made an impact on my store both aesthetically pleasing as well as financially (sales). A huge win for us & our customers/consignors. I highly, highly recommend her, but hate to share her! This is my 1st year with Nina and Robert and they are very professional and work hard at making my cottage look nice and clean. They were so nice to do extra things for me such as pick up propane and extra bedding when I couldn't. I really appreciated this so my next tenants didn't go without!! I would definitely recommend them because they are honest, trustworthy and dependable!

Dan Hastie is fantastic! He guided and encouraged us to clear major clutter in my mother's home. Dan worked non-stop over several days, was able to take many of the donations so we did not have to deal with that, and made arrangements for extra trash pick up. He was comfortable with our pets in the house while he worked. He is trustworthy and has integrity. I am pleased to recommend The Affordable Organizer's services!

I had a great experience with Kathy. She was prompt, professional, a great listener, had good ideas, and very willing to help move things since I was 37 weeks pregnant at the time she came over. Kathy knows the right questions to ask so that I felt I was organizing things in the way that was intuitive to our household preferences and patterns. Even after her visit, I am still working on getting organized and creating more space in our home. I felt very comfortable opening my home and messy spaces to her. I hired Clutter Controls to help de-clutter and organize our attic and garage. Sharlene Hemp was AMAZING.....It was the best decision I could have ever made. She was kind and very understanding and kept the focus on "do you want or use it"? She was very knowledgable about what to keep, what to toss, what can be sold, and where to donate items. This was important because such decisions kept me from tackling these kind of projects in the past. Sharlene worked so quickly that both very large areas were done in 3 days. I would highly recommend this business to anyone overwhelmed by their clutter or just in need of some guidance with organization.
