- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Prices are not always set in stone, and occasionally packages are offered. I offer packages to help minimize the cost to some degree. I do NOT believe in a single session allowance at the start. As with any relationship, it will take more than meeting the first time for either side to gain sufficient insight.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start by doing a quick intake which allows us to set goals and, more important, look at processes. You will tell me as much information that surfaces. We will soon start to break down to pinpoint where there are issues and eventually move into possible solutions. The goal is to go at a pace that is comfortable for you. If I am helping a senior prepare for the college application process, I would like for us to just dive right in. ;-)
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a certified motivational speaker, and I hold two certifications in life coaching, I am also working on a third degree, a Master's in Clinical Psychology/Counseling. I am a father of nine children, eight of whom I have adopted from the state. They hate when I coach them so often I have to disguise it a bit. Their friends love it. I was a wedding planner for many years, and there is when I decided to be a life coach professionally. I often recommend hiring a relationship/life coach for couples getting married.
