Chef Tony cooked us the most DELICIOUS top quality - fresh - dinner ever. Over a month later, my family is still raving about how tasty my birthday dinner was that Chef Tony cooked us. My birthday dinner menu included: -Rustic flat bread pizza with roasted eggplant, sundried tomatoes, arugula, manchego cheese with balsamic paint (the flatbread was perfectly crispy and the flavors came together amazing) -Mexican seafood ceviche (marinated sea bass scallops with avocado salad and lime crispy tortilla chips) I don't eat fish but the rest of my family devoured it and even I tried some and really enjoyed it!! It looked so light, tasty and refreshing that I couldn't help it! -French bree strawberries with toasted almonds in greek film cups (the bree and strawberry together was the perfect balance and broke up the courses perfectly) -Mini maryland crab cakes over granny smith apple cole slaw (everyone in my family went back for seconds and my brothers had 3 each! to the point where I had to stop them so they wouldn't be too full for the next courses. The slaw was soooooooooooooo tasty, I wish I knew how to make that as the perfect side-dish) -Spanish style Arroz con pollo (tomato rice chicken and chorizo) WORDS CAN NOT EXPRESS HOW GOOD THIS TASTED!! We literally could not stop eating it. This was legit real deal spanish arroz con pollo and better than I have eaten at any of the tons of spanish restaurants I have visited) -Cuban spiced grilled pork tenderloin with a pickled ginger mango slaw on a flour tortilla (once again the slaw was made completely different and incredibly flavorful and refreshing. It was the perfect topping for the soft tortilla tacos and the pork was very tasty and tender) -Argentinian steak (grilled latin filet mignon) with roasted red pepper saffron sauce served with whipped sweet potatoes sand grilled asparagus (by this point we were all incredibly full but HAD HAD HAD to eat this because that is how good it was. What an amazing way to end the dinner courses. The filet mignon did not need a knife at all and literally melted in my mouth. I WISH I watched Chef Tony make the sweet potatoes - they were the best I have ever eaten and I am huge food as well as my family. It had the perfect balance of sweet to it and I still am craving sweet potatoes made just like that! The asparagus was a perfect vegetable to go with it along with the home-made gravy he drizzled over the plate) -For dessert we had creme brûlée, italian cheese cake, flourless chocolate cake and warm chocolate chip cookies... For creme brûlée (one of my favorite desserts) Chef Tony even let us cook the top with the fire ourselves! Just typing this menu all over again makes me hungry thinking about the 5 star restaurant quality food Chef Tony made us. Everyone including myself literally loved every single food he served us. I can't express enough how much my family and I enjoyed having Chef Tony cook for us at home. I must have used the word flavorful 100x in this review, but that is literally the only way to explain it. Usually we go out for the family birthdays for all of the siblings, but this was just such a fun new twist that now everyone in my family wants to do this again with Chef Tony! Especially my brother who hates eating out, but the rest of the family always wants to eat out because sometimes it is nice to not have to cook...and now we have the perfect balance by getting a private chef for us like Chef Tony instead. This was the first time I ever hired a private chef and Chef Tony by far exceeded my expectations. He was also incredibly easy to work with on the menu. I can be a bit indecisive at times and I changed things about 3 times and Chef Tony was super easygoing about it and sent me back a new menu each time catering to exactly what I asked for. Since I hired him a week and a half before my birthday, he was very patient with me considering. He faceted with my sister to see her kitchen and go over everything we may or may not need. Oh, did I also mention he brought adorable blue blue linen napkins and made a printed menu with name on heading for every single person in my family eating, which was such a sweet and unique gesture on his end. He was also very friendly at my sister's house and was enjoyable to be around. I will 10000% be calling Chef Tony again and I have already told so many of my friends about him. TRUST ME WHEN I SAY - IT IS WORTH IT! Especially now that winter is coming, who wants to get dressed up and go out in freezing weather when you can hang out in the comfort of your home for quality time with family and friends, put the kids to bed without having to hire a babysitter, have some drinks, play games and get served 5 star quality restaurant food (if not better) ?!?! I am so happy I discovered Chef Tony and I look forward to definitely working again with him in the future. Also Chef Tony is a professional sommelier, but since we were drinking mixed drinks we didn't get the wine pairing included. I read very positive reviews about Chef Tony's wine pairing and my family and I very much look forward to trying that out eventually with Chef Tony. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU Chef Tony for giving me one of those most memorable birthday dinners ever, you truly impressed my family, fiancé's family & myself to the point where like I said, everyone still brings you and your cooking up. I wish I could truly explain in words how positive this review really was it, but I did my very best to try and put into words. Chef Anton was great to work with for our retirement luncheon. He was responsive, professional, flexible, on-time and exceeded all of our expectations. We had Chef Anton caterer a 35 person office luncheon. The spread included mixed greens salad, cheese steak egg rolls, dumplings, pork loin, chicken parm, spinach and potatoes. We also received cannoliis. Chef Anton showed up early, setup everything and the food was great. Everyone in the office thanked me for setting up such a nice event, but I need to thank Chef Anton! All of the food was very good, but the cheese steak eggs rolls were amazing, chicken parm delicious and the salad even received a lot of praise. Thanks Chef Anton and we will look to you for future retirement luncheons and other events!
Kim Osinski is the consummate professional chef. Her food is outstanding, her dishes are creative and she is incredibly easy to work with. She catered a Girlfriendz Magazine event for me and my guests raved about her food. She made me look like a hero to my client and our guests, so now she is my hero. :)
I worked with Chef Rock to plan my mother's 80th birthday party. We had 20 people and it is always difficult to please everyone; however, Chef Rock was able to plan a menu that was versatile and tasty! The chef made sure he considered people's diet and health needs before he planned the meals. I loved that Jim was completely prepared and self-sufficient, so it didn't matter how well the kitchen was stocked (or not). We had a taco bar and enchiladas one night and I was really impressed that the chef served homemade tortillas and he roasted the fresh chills. The following evening we had a beautiful rib roast with all the trimmings, fresh vegetables and potatoes dauphinoise. I was really impressed with Chef Rock's attention to detail, including warmed plates, the tastiest condiments and dips, as well as plenty of fresh fruit. I highly recommend hiring a personal chef for this kind of event since we only had 2 1/2 days to spend quality time with each other and travelled from five different states. Chef Rock also made sure everything was ready depending on our schedule. If we hadn't made this arrangement with our chef, I'm sure we would have been eating dinner at midnight! Luckily we had plenty of room in the house so the chef could stay the whole time, making coffee in the morning and providing all the clean-up. Thanks Jim for making this great event so memorable and special.
Chef Jay was such a blessing! My friends were blown away by his creativity. Brunch was simply delicious. Chef Jay has a unique way of creating very bold flavors that leave you wanting more. My menu was well thought out and far from boring. The brunch was interactive at times and my friends are still talking about their incredible FEAST! Chef Jay was very personable and at no moment did I feel like there was a guest in my kitchen.
Chef Guidry of Twice the Spice Caterer food was delicious! She delivered personal chef service for a special birthday dinner party. The food was very fresh and high grade/quality. The menu items were well balanced and included an appetizer, several different entrees, and desert. Stephanie even brought drink mixers and adjusted the menu to everyones liking, taste, and dietary. Chefs professionalism extended throughout her cooking and presentation. She was even able to accommodate a few unexpected guests. The food was well prepared, finely seasoned to perfection, absolutely picture perfect and enjoyably delicious! She definitely brought a fine dining restaurant experience to our home handling the shopping, cooking, serving and cleanup. We will definitely utilize Chef Guidry of Twice the Spice Caterer again! Fortunately, Eric and his wife came over to our house last night! They are two fantastically nice people and prepared and served us and our guests a wonderful dinner. We purchased this as a gift for our boss and he could not say enough good things about the experience with Chef Cindi. From the food to the service to the interaction being just right, it was an evening our boss thoroughly enjoyed! In fact, He liked it so much so that he's hired him back for another night. John cooked for my 6th wedding anniversary. He Took his time to sit down with me to come up with a menu that me and my husband would enjoy. We started off simple with a salad where chef John used his homemade vinaigrette, the main course was a little more complex as he did lamb/ lobster surf and turf and very delicious and we even ended with dessert that was to die for! John cooked everything in our own kitchen which was amazing. Him and his team stayed throughout the whole meal and cleaned up everything I think our kitchen was cleaner than when they got there haha It was a great pleasure to have John and his team cook for us!
So far, I have had two meals delivered to my home by Luna Cooking, and they were both delicious. The food arrives in alumni trays with heating instructions on the lids. My husband and I have very busy schedules, so it’s nice to know that at least one day out of the week, we don’t have to cook or pick up something (usually unhealthy) on our way home. We will definitely order again. We have not tried any of the desserts yet, but the peach cobbler sounds great! NM
Tony Daggett has been the all time favorite chef of the International Primal Psychology Association. This is a very demanding group who has always otherwise had food complaints. Tony's diverse meals, fresh deserts and creative snacks, as well as his extremely cooperative and charismatic behavior all contribute to his success. I was not the least bit surprised to hear of his branching into event coordination as he has everything that it takes and more to please all kinds of groups. He is considerate, listens well and observes what is needed, and he goes about putting himself into things as needed to make for fabulous events. You'll be glad when you choose to hire Tony! Gratitude to Tony for satisfying our group with it's intensive needs and huge range of demands. We couldn't have asked for more.
Ronald Leider, Executive Chef of Mobile Chef Catering is a truly innovative young man. He blew our family away at an extravagant Gala he catered for 150 people this past October. Their presentation was something beyond just food. Ronald's technic in dressing the dishes is was truly an art form. From the delicious tuna tatar towers as appetizers to the split plate ribeye and swordfish for dinner that melted in your mouth, it was just simply phenomenal. The staff is wonderful as well, they are so accommodating and you barely notice they are there(in a good way). We got his card and booked him for almost every family event we have had in the past year! They are willing to do small intimate events but specialize in large parties. There are no limitations with this company and thats why we give them a 5 star rating.
I have medical conditions that leave me exhausted after working 8 hour days. As a result, I would not have the energy to cook healthy meals. Our dinners included fast food, delivery or pre-packaged meals. When I found out that Traci, a friend of my sister, was in culinary school I approached her about becoming our personal chef and preparing 4-5 meals a week that are either ready to cook with minimal efforts or only needs to be reheated. In January 2015, we hired Traci as our personal chef. I provided Traci with some of our favorite recipes. A shared Pinterest board was also created to share online recipes. As my husband is a picky eater, finding recipes that he approves has been a challenge. Traci quickly learned acceptable foods and has been great about suggesting substitutions for recipes. After 2 months of working with Traci, I had to go on a low sodium diet. She had no problems modifying meals so they would be lower in sodium. Each week Traci prepares the next weeks meal plan by reviewing our approved recipes and requests for repeated meals. We review the meal plan and make changes as needed. Traci purchases the food while considering ingredients that she still has in stock. On the following day, she prepares the meals in her house. The meals are placed into glass dishes or covered disposable foil serving trays with copy of the recipes attached. After the meals are ready, I pick up them up at her house. The meals are then kept in the refrigerator (or the freezer) until I am ready to cook/heat it. We provide Traci feedback on each meal. Traci accepts our feedback well and takes into consideration our requests when making the meal again. The meals have been delicious and most have earned a rating of 5 out of 5 stars. The meals not receiving 5 stars were not a result of Tracis meal preparation skills but due to the recipe, such as the seasonings. Prior to hiring Traci I was never fond of left-overs. Now I find myself excited to have left-overs. Traci has even gotten my husband to eat foods I never expected. My husband has eaten and really liked meals prepared by Traci that he did not like when made by myself or family. He has even eaten vegetables that he has refused to eat as he thought he didnt like them. I highly recommend Traci Zammetti as a personal chef. Not only are our meals better tasting than I would make, but we are healthier as a result of the healthier meals and less stress in our lives.
