While I don't know how other officiants go about their service, and I wouldn't presume to comment on them, I do know that every couple (so far) has been extremely pleased with mine. This statement is based on communication after the ceremony, comments from their family and guests, comments from staff at the venues, as well as reviews I've received so far. I encourage you to look me up on the Wedding Wire website and read other reviews regarding my service. I like being a part of a couple's momentous day. I get a great feeling that I am the person performing their wedding ceremony. It's a happy time.

Rev. Michael was a kindred spirit from the moment we met him. When We sat down with him over a year ago, he came well prepared with ideas for us and our ceremony. All of his suggestions spoke to us and we felt completely comfortable with him, as though we had known each other forever. We got to learn a little bit about him as a person - a father, a husaband, brother and son. And quite the man he is! We officially put our ceremony together with him just a few days before the wedding, which was both effortless and a pleasure. On the day of our wedding, he was there early and prepared. During the ceremony, he was articulate, genuine and heartfelt. We couldn't have asked for a better officiant to marry us! Thank you Michael!

We just met with Rev. Savage and we knew he would be the right person to officiate our wedding. He understood exactly what we were looking for and I have no doubt that our ceremony will be well planned and have a relaxed, enjoyable theme. Rev. I wish words could truly describe how AMAZING Reverend Michael Savage is... He was the officiant for our June 4th, 2016 wedding, and I can honestly say that if it were not for him, our wedding wouldn't have been complete. On our first meeting with Rev. Michael, we knew within the first 5 minutes that he was the "one." He's charismatic, professional, kind-hearted, well spoken, intelligent, funny and overall - INCREDIBLE! He reviewed all the material for the event, and made sure to customize it just for us... He was extremely patient with the changes I had to make (including the changes I had the day before), and he always returned my e-mails and texts. The day of the wedding he arrived early, and made sure to take care of all the details... The ceremony was everything we hoped it would be and MORE!!!! Every word, every gesture, and every second was PERFECTION!!! Reverend Michael is a GOD SENT, and will always be a friend to us. Do NOT hesitate to have him officiate your special day - he will surpass your every expectation. THANK YOU!!!! :)

Rev. Michael Savage did a wonderful job with our ceremony. He was very helpful with the entire process of putting together our service and explained everyhing to us in great detail. Rev. Michael was always available to us for any questions or anything we needed at any time. He came early to the ceremony to help us set up and walk us through everything so there were no issues. Everything went very smoothly on my wedding day. Honestly I could not have asked for a more perfect ceremony! I would definitely recommend Rev. Michael to anybody getting married!

From our first correspondence with Rev. Savage, my fiancé and I knew that he would be a perfect fit to officiate our wedding. While both Mike and I are considered Catholic, Mike never had his confirmation due to a sickness. Since I had always dreamed of having my wedding outdoors, and he never got confirmed, we decided that we did not need a Priest, as did we need to be married in a church, and we did not want to take several pre-cana courses. I should mention here that we had been together for 9 years before we married, and lived with each other for a few years, as well. We found Rev. Savage using Thumbtack, and after emailing with him a couple times, we decided to meet with him. Rev. Michael Savage was so sweet, personable and understanding of our choices. Once it was time for us to choose our readings and our vows, he was more than willing to help us, and to allow us to really personalize our ceremony, and to choose any readings and vows that fit our relationship, rather than having to choose only from his list of readings. He was very responsive to my emails, for which I am super grateful. Jumping ahead to the day of our ceremony, it was HOT outside. Super humid! We opted to still have our ceremony outdoors, as that was our vision for the day. Rev. Savage did an incredible job; he was professional, yet witty, and got all of us out of the ceremony space and into the air conditioning within about 20 minutes. Overall, Reverend Savage was an absolute gem, and he made our wedding ceremony so special and unique to us as a couple. I will recommend him to each and every one of my friends!

    There is nothing complicated about the fee.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

    As both of our children are in college, and away for a good part of the year, I was looking for something to allow me to help others. I've found this and I plan on doing it for the next thirty years or for as long as I am competent :-)

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

    It comes down to this, you both have to "want" the officiant who will will perform your ceremony.
