I have thoroughly enjoyed by Spanish lessons with Gloria. She is well organised and structured in her approach to teaching which is so helpful especially when you are a beginner and trying to grasp the basics. Each lessons has been uniquely customized to my level and progress. Gloria is extremely patient and finds ways to keep the lessons fun and interesting while at the same time making them challenging enough to enable you to progress. Gloria is an excellent teacher and I cant recommend her enough!

Had a great first meeting with Humberto where he explained the way he teaches and how our classes would proceed. It's a very interactional approach that incorporates things in the student's life. I'm very much looking forward to learning Spanish with his help.

Roberto is an excellent teacher! He is patient and starts off as slow or fast as your individual needs may require. Roberto made the lessons fun and engaging with a lot of conversation, which is what I needed most from my Spanish lessons. In a short amount of time I was able to speak quite a bit of Spanish, enough to even communicate with locals in South America while I was on vacation. I would highly recommend Roberto if you are someone looking to learn or improve your Spanish while having a lot of fun and spending that time with a very cool guy.

I have been be receiving help over the past 9 months from Mari. I meet her through the tutoring center on campus to go just go over a few things before a test. After doing so my score improved so much that I could not help but go back. I have dyslexia and her hands on approach has really allowed me to push pass the road blocks that I face with learning a second language. To be honest I never found much excitement in learning Spanish before secession with her. She is overly dedicated to helping me as a student exceed my goals as a student. I would recommend her to any one she is genuinely interested in how her students do and does not seem to care at what level we are at. When she first stated helping me I was no where near where I am today!!

Romina was very outstanding. She was patient to my daughter who was having trouble in her Spanish class. She went slow and easy, and her instructions were easy for my daughter to understand. She gave my daughter very good tips, and I suggest Romina for many.

10/20/15 I wanted to write a review about Cross Cultural Communications in regard to my Spanish lessons. I had tried to learn Spanish in Berlitz in Princeton, NJ years ago, and the program of learning grammar and memorizing words did not resonate with my learning ability. I wanted to learn the language of Spanish but also the culture. At Cross Cultural Communications I got a native speaking teacher that made the language learning more interesting combined with cultural knowledge. I learned and retained much more using this method and it keeps me coming back to learn more and more. The Westwood, NJ location is convenient for me and the pricing of the classes are very reasonable. I would highly recommend this center for Spanish language lessons combined with cultural learning. I learn English from Connor. He proves what a professional great bilingual teacher should be and opens my eyes to the American culture. I have a full time job, he always tries his best to get our class arranged. By using various appropriate methods: reading, dialogue, writing, discussion, he makes my learning interesting and helpful. I got admitted to Columbia University thanks to his help and encouragement. He inspires me to love learning, explore new fields as well.

I love the Italian language and culture and realized my speaking abilities from my university studies were rustier than I thought during a recent trip to Italy this past summer. Upon my return to the States, I immediately sought private tutoring and I could not be more satisfied in finding Mariateresa. I've seen vast improvement in my comprehension and speaking since I started taking lessons with her. The first couple months were focused on fundamentals and book work but now each lesson begins with about 30 mins of conversation (in Italian of course) before diving into books. I cannot recommend Mariateresa enough regardless of your comprehension level because not only does she challenge me every week to improve my skill but the time spent with her is very enjoyable and something I look forward to every week.
