About
Myofascial Release Physical Therapy | Yoga | Couples Yoga
Hi! Thanks for considering my services 🙏 Please see my list of services below!
MYOFASCIAL RELEASE
I have 200h of training in Myofascial Release therapy and have been practicing since 2018. My training is from NJ based Magical Hands Physical Therapy, and have for the past 4 years been working with and training under the owner, who has been practicing bodywork for 40 years.
My style of myofascial release is a gentle but effective approach for correcting areas that cause pain or postural imbalances, but has the beauty of being able to help release past traumas and stuck emotions. It brings me so much joy to see my clients having meaningful change in just a few sessions!
YOGA
I have been practicing yoga since 2016 and then teaching yoga since 2018. I am 500h certified and my style is mostly influenced by Hatha/Yin/Restorative Yoga and I cater to advanced students and beginners. I generally focus less on fitness yoga styles, and more on longer poses with a more meditative/relaxing goal.
In my 3.5 months of yoga training in Nepal, I helped write the technical manual for future trainees for properly and safely coming into, holding, and coming out of 108 fundamental yoga postures (asanas) from the Hatha Yoga lineage, with details on benefits/risks/and tips for improvement and addressing body mechanics issues and synchronizing with breath. I also learned everything from yogic breathing and meditation techniques to anatomical philosophy and spirituality. I have taught classes for both general students and Yoga Teacher Trainees.
My personal practice focuses on improving flexibility, joint stability, posture, muscle coordination, and conscious control of stress and anxiety.
COUPLES YOGA
I’m excited to have a new offering of Couples Yoga, which combines restorative yoga techniques, meditation, and intention setting. My students have told me that it has helped them feel a stronger bond with their partner and given them new perspectives on how they look at their relationships.

So patient, knowledgable and a great teacher! Had the pleasure of having Andy guide me through a 60 minute Hatha class. It was rejuvenating and exactly what the body (and soul!) needed.

My consultation with Andy exceeded my expectations. I am a yoga teacher in training who also has a high-pressure, full-time job. Based on a set of questions about my personal and professional life, Andy was able to make some very quick assessments and offer personalized guidance including ways to incorporate small “doses” of yoga throughout my hectic work week.
He also suggested a number of breathing exercises that I could do while sitting right at my desk. Andy also shared some insights about how diet can impact my practice and provided some great recommendations that I have already incorporated.
Andy’s temperament is that of a trustworthy and non-judgmental friend. We easily fell into a rhythm and the allotted time for our consultation flew by quickly. I look forward to continuing the dialogue and incorporating his guidance into my daily routine to take my yoga practice to the next level.

Andy is knowledgeable and well versed in the yogic sciences. His presence and guidance in a class is both grounding and intentional. I left his classes feeling well stretched, balanced and positive. I would love to take more classes with him! And I recommend his private lessons as well.
