Jason is an amazing guy, did a fantastic job for us in fixing a clogged gutter drain pipe. He came over on the weekend with his son to install a French drain for us at a great price...... don't even hesitate about hiring him.
Jerome mounted a 65" TV in our home. He was familiar with the type of mount before arriving and did an excellent job. Jerome was scheduled to come the day of a snow storm and made accommodations to keep our appointment despite the weather. We are very happy with his work and would recommend him.
Manny was very pleasant and professional. He did a great job in clearing up a very clogged kitchen drain. I'm very satisfied with his work.
Kathy was responsive to my call and scheduled a visit by the plumber (Sam) the next day (Saturday). Sam arrived on time and within few minutes identified the sources to the leaks from the bathtub drain area. Both the drain valve and the faucet valve were leaking. Sam fixed the drain valve on that day and came back two days later on Monday with the parts needed to replace the leaky faucet valve as well as a new faucet set that I wanted him to install. There were two options to replace the faucet valve - one from the front (bathtub) side which requires removing a few tiles, or from behind, which requires cutting a small area on the drywall in the adjacent room. Although it would have been easier for him to work from the front side, he decided to work from behind so that I don't have to hire another contractor to install the tiles later. I truly appreciated his thoughtfulness. He also suggested that I install access panels where the cut was made on the wall as well as on the ceiling at the first floor, below the bathtub drain valve. Sam did an excellent job and he was on time as promised. The price was very reasonable. Sam is honest and trustworthy. I will certainly hire him whenever I need work that Sam does.
Great service, drain is fixed!
Walter was great. The main drain of my house was clogged and I told him it was an emergency. He showed up at my house at 9 o'clock at night. He worked hard to fix it but it became evident that the problem was worse than we thaught. He promptly showed up the next day with the proper equipment and took care of the the problem. I would definately recomend him and will surely consider him for future projects.
I hired BlueKrait drain to do. Some work for me ...Rob was very nice soft spoken young man we scheduled an appointment for 6 pm the same day .he called me an hour earlier did his job and even gave me a discount ..he had asked me for 150.00 but the job wasn't what he thought it would be...so he charged me $125.00 instead .he is really breathing ! He is my drain man from now on...Good job Rob!
So pleased with Mike’s work fixing our storm door and frame. He worked quickly, efficiently, and he was very thorough. He is knowledgeable, experienced and takes great pride in his work. Already planning new projects for him to tackle around my home! You will not be disappointed.
Nick arrived on time, was pleasant to work with and did a great job on my kitchen sink drain and bathroom toilet fill valves
Robert was professional throughout. He responded to all of our questions quickly and showed up on time for the job with everything he needed to do it well. He did great work and was efficient and charged very reasonably. Nice guy too. No attitude like some contractors we've used. We hope to use him again on future projects.
I highly recommend Celtic Piping and Heating. Edward got back to me quickly with an online quote while many other plumbers or contractors refuse to provide even a ballpark estimate without seeing the project. (Translation: it's harder to refuse when someone is standing in your apartment ready to work even if the price is outrageous!) Edward called me back within 30 minutes to arrange for a time and arrived promptly... on a Saturday, no less! I had failed to mention that I needed a drain installed in addition to two faucets and that wasn't a problem for him. He clearly knows what he is doing and my kitchen and bathroom now have a much more updated look thanks to his efforts. Edward is a true professional and he clearly takes pride in what he does. He left me with his card in case there were any problems as he guarantees his work. I don't think that I'll be needing it... until I have another project, that is! Terrific!
William replaced water shut-off valves for sink and dishwasher. While testing the water lines, he discovered leaks caused by a contractor's incomplete installation of drain pipes and faucet. William properly installed these items and prevented water damage to new cabinets. He also replaced leaky bathroom sink pipe connectors. Excellent work, fast completion time, and fair prices. I highly recommend his plumbing services. Thanks Thumbtack.com!
My partner and I just moved to NJ from NC and had quite a bit of repairs and upgrades we needed to complete on the new home we purchased. One such upgrade was venting the dryer. This home was built in 1892 so needless to say, the original architectural plan did not include a dryer. The previous owners installed a gas line - but where the gas line had to run to attach to the kitchen stove, made for a really poor location in the basement in regards to venting the dryer. Before Nick came, he let me know a price for a best case scenario, which I appreciated because had he named a price over my budget, it would have given us both the opportunity to cancel the estimate so as not to waste time. Nick arrived on-time for the estimate and at first it was pretty tricky to find a solution for venting the dryer without completely tearing up the ceiling and walls. Nick was persistent in finding though and was able to devise a plan of going through an old nonfunctional window that was hidden and covered. I hired him to complete the dryer venting and also uncap the gas line and install a hose in preparation for the dryer installation. On the day of the project, Nick arrived on time (7:30am on a Saturday) It took him about 2.5 hours to complete everything. He did a fantastic job. One strength I want to highlight is that Nick not only gets the job done, and does it well, but also takes pride in the aesthetics of his work. He could have easily vented the dryer in a way that exposed the pipe all the way along the ceiling and through the window, but instead he figured out a way to fish it under the sheet rock for a cleaner look. He also cleaned his work space completely - which I have found to be rare for contractors in this area. I have had many contractors who were ready to walk out the door without cleaning up their mess and would have done so had I not asked them to clean up before they go. I also want to highlight that I had a sewage pipe issue in the basement prior to his dryer venting project. Nick also does plumbing so I called him at 4pm and he was at my house by 8pm. People who who have hired folks for sewage pipe leaks know that cleaning up the sewage is not part of the job. Nick was willing to clean and sanitize on top of snaking the pipes and clearing them of clogs for a reasonable price. Nick has been great to work with and does great work. I have already hired him to take care of some other projects around the house (installing a shower door, clearing debris in the backyard). Glad we found a go-to handyman for our new home!
Juan was very professional and has done an excellent job in the time frame he promised. I've dealt with many contractors before and Juan by far is the most pleasant to work with. I would strongly recommend hiring him to do work.
Herbert came over and checked our tub. He gave good advice and helped repair the bathtub instead of replacing a new one. Very honest!
Ted is a very experienced contractor who knows what he is doing. He clearly gave me a lot of inputs throughout the course of project. I hired him to remove the wall between the dinning and kitchen and then looking at his work I gave him many other add-on projects such as building a kitchen island, cabinets, building a wet bar, backsplash tiles etc., He is a punctual guy who shows up to work on time. Not to mention he is a very friendly. He fixed many other small things outside of the project and was kind enough to not include in invoice. I am not going to look for contractors for any kind of home remodeling projects. I was away for family vacation and he helped in coordinating with counter top guys to get the work done. Payments: He took payments as and when the job is done. He send pictures of the job as and when it is done to make sure the end result is as planned. That helped me a lot to see things as it happens when I was still busy at my work. Stop your search and hire him to get the work done!
5 Stars are not enough for this contractor. Eric answered every question Marilyn and I asked during the two intensive remodeling conferences we had prior to hire. He made suggestions, measured, measured again, thought before he answered, and didn't give us a price off the top of his head. We were interested in his approach, his prior experience, his honesty and integrity. After all, if we were giving him permission to work in our home. Eric installed a new high end kitchen that delights my wife every time she opens a cabinet. Pleasing, efficient, well designed and laid out is the finish we received. We got more value than we paid for. Finally found a general contractor who stayed on the job every scheduled day until our work was totally completed. Once we saw Eric's experience in progress, we booked more work-- over 700 feet of new flooring, trim work, utility room to guest bedroom transformation, fan installation, duct work, sheet rocking, taping, painting, handyman type items. I can't say enough good things about Eric and his craftsmanship, honesty, and sincerity of performance. Interview him last. Whatever you pay, i assure you he is worth it and fair. Feel free to call me at 845-492-0261. I am a NYS Licensed Real Estate Broker and will be recommending Eric to my clients when they need a go to contractor with a varied skill set in all phases of remodeling and general contracting. Al showed up on time, which I always appreciate. He tackled a very difficult faucet and drain replacement in my bathroom. He was very determined, polite and clear about his desire for me to be happy with the job he was doing. Great job overall. No more leaks!
They came during a major snow storm to repair a broken drainage pipe. Excellent service, trustworthy and I would absolutely hire them again!!
I really lucked out with Segreti and Son. Responsive to my query, kept me up to date re: schedule because of storm. I needed to have a platform bed assembled and Tom not only knew how, but figured out a problem, cleaned up and took debris with him too. He is coming back to finish the bed, as the footboard was defective. I liked the way he worked and how neat he was, so I have scheduleld two more projects with him. Worth every star.
Eddie is an expert in his field. We had an issue with our AC/Heating unit and he was able to quickly identify the problem and resolve it very quickly. He was also able to assist in installing a drain system.
