Benjamin Bain of Cedars and Oaks Renovations was just awesome and if I could rate him with more than 5 stars I certainly would. My project was desk assembly and hanging pictures and drapes. If I would have attempted the desk assembly myself I would have cried when I opened the box; it contained 26 pieces plus 149 cams, bolts, screws, drawer brackets and drawer hinges (not to mention there were 27 steps from opening the box to completed desk). Mr. Bain opened the box, scanned the instructions and made the entire project look like child's play (and there were no left over cams, screws, or bolts). The drapes were hung perfectly and the pictures squared precisely.
Mr. Bain was very responsive to my calls and very prompt. He got hung-up in Friday morning traffic but called me to let me know the situation and that he would be a few minutes late which was no big deal but I certainly appreciated the fact that he called to let me know; that was very considerate of him.
The quality of his work was superb and there was no leftover mess to clean up. He was very pleasant and professional and the value I received for wait I paid was terrific.
He is also a very honest man - let me explain. When I paid him, two of the bills were stuck together unrecognized by me at the time. When I was at dinner that evening Mr. Bain called me and told me so and asked how he could return the "extra" money. I was so impressed by his honesty that I told him to keep the "extra" because I thought he deserved it.
I would definitely recommend Mr. Bain and I would certainly hire him again; in fact I have so much faith in his ability, honesty, and integrity that I would give him the keys to the house and go about my business while he worked and not be a bit concerned about it.
Trust me, you won't go wrong if you hire this man.
