- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes, I am getting my Masters in Foreign languages teaching strategies.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I am a current French teacher at the Alliance Française of Albuquerque. I teach French to children, teenagers and adults. I use different methods, mostly French methods but I would be ready to use any book or text that my customer would suggest. I like to mix the lessons with reading, writing, listening and speaking sections. If my student needs more work in one area, I make sure we focus on this particular one.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
One of my students wanted to take a French test, the B1 level. He took private lessons with me for about 5 months and I was able to bring him to that level. He dedicated a lot of time to his learning but he made it!! He received his B1 diploma in July 2014. This is what I call a success story.
