Introduction: Is your child interested in learning to play the piano? I'm a dedicated and experienced piano teacher, and I currently have openings for students ages 6 through high school. I teach lessons in my NE Heights home. I teach both classical and popular music and holds three recitals a year. I have taught piano for over 40 years, and I use various teaching method books based on each student's needs. I use an upright Steinway baby grand as my teaching piano. My education includes a Bachelor of Arts degree from the College of William and Mary in Virginia. The focuses of my degree were music performance, voice, piano and pipe organ. My career included directing children's choirs, directing the music program at an episcopal school and serving as a church organist in several churches. I charge: - $87.74 (including tax) a month for four 30-minute lessons - $131.62 (including tax) a month for four 45-minute lessons The gift of music is a beautiful gift to give your child.
