FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The most effective, fair way for both the customer and myself is that, I try to do to help my customers save money is by charging Time & Material. Here's the break down. My hourly rate is competitive, but not nearly the cost of a contractor. Plus you're paying cost of materials, whereas contractors mark up materials. I do overall bids as well when the job calls for it.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I first contact the customer to ask a few questions about the request of work to be done and schedule an appointment to meet with them. At that time when I meet with the customer, I discuss the job, answer any questions or concerns the customer mag have and present the best cost effective solution to meet the customers budget, along with getting any measurements and a list of materials needed for the job, then schedule a time to do the work.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I got started at a very young age. My Grandpa had a drywall and painting company, my Dad had an Electrical company and I've learned all my other skills along the way.
