We just had Greg over to change out an old, ugly front door on our house. After searching and hunting around, I settled on one found at Home Depot. He retro fit it, got all new hinges and hardware, weatherstipping put on the door, installed it, and even fixed my existing security door so it shuts easier and then replaced some dog damaged quarter round moulding at the bottom. He worked hard, and was very accomodating regarding taking it off pre-hung molding and getting it to fit correctly for my entry. He cleaned up after and left me with a much better entrance. If you ever are in need of a door facelift and upgrade, Greg’s the guy. Picked up all the needed supplies with my door, showed up on time as promised, and was very pleasant and easy to work with overall. This is how service should be. Would hire him again. We may replace our garage entry door next. A++

Greg was fantastic. Gave a fair estimate, made sure we had all the supplies he needed & was here on time. Said it was a 2 day job & it took 2 days. Our doorframe had settled a bit so he had to work some magic to get both the entry door & security door square and level. No surprises & the doors are solid as a rock & work like a brand new place! Greg completed a variety of door adjustments, shaved down interior doors and even went above and beyond for request that were not mentioned prior. He responded within 1 hour of request and I was able to have the job completed the next day. He was not only on time but reasonably priced. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
$56 per hour, plus the $56 drive charge. Jobs within 30 miles one way are 1 hour. With my experience of over 29 years often I can fix a door in 1 to 2 hours.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
If they just need a repair we can schedule a service call. If they need a new door or new hardware I like to look at the job first. We could set up a free estimate. I can email a price, then all I need is an Emailed approval to get started.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
On the job training, working on several different types of doors. I have taken classes on electric locks and access keypads. When I am working with a new product I check the website familiarize myself with all the options and different functions. I can get technical support from the manufacturer. If I just need to increase my knowledge or check someone else's way of doing it I will watch How To videos on YouTube. I will always be improving and learning.
