Mike is an outstanding guitar instructor. Our kids have been taking weekly lessons with him (in person and online) for the past few years, and the growth weve seen both, musically and in confidence has been incredible. What really sets Mike apart is how much he invests in each of our kids individual interests. He tailors lessons around the music theyre excited about, which keeps them motivated and genuinely eager to practice.He creates a fun, encouraging learning environment while still teaching solid fundamentals, and he strikes a great balance between structured instruction and allowing the kids to discover their own style as they progress. Our kids look forward to every lesson, and that says everything. We are very lucky to have Mike teaching our kids and their progression and passion has grown tremendously.

We've had an outstanding experience with Mike over several years of both in-person and online lessons. When my kids started, they knew absolutely nothing about guitar, and within the first few weeks they were already playing songs. The progress theyve made since then has been incredible.Mike has a remarkable ability to tailor each lesson to the students skill level and personal interests, which has kept my kids consistently engaged and excited to learn. He is dependable, versatile, and genuinely enthusiastic about teaching. His passion is contagious, and he has a unique way of motivating students to push themselves while still making lessons fun and encouraging.What truly sets Mike apart is his range as an instructor. He has mentored my kids through a wide variety of genres, from metal to worship music, helping them develop strong technical skills, musical confidence, and the practical skills needed to perform on stage. He doesnt just teach them how to play songs. He mentors them in how to adapt, make the music their own, and perform with confidence in front of others. Whether lessons were in person or online, the quality and attention never changed.If youre looking for a guitar instructor who is patient, highly skilled, deeply invested in his students growth, and able to inspire a long-term passion for music, I cannot recommend Mike highly enough.

There is no better guitar teacher than Mike. My disabled daughter has been taking lessons with him for years; Mike goes out of his way to make it the best experience each and every lesson. Always up beat, ready to teach and always prepared for our next song we request.

Mike has been teaching our son guitar for over four years now. He made learning guitar super fun and encouraging for our kiddo who has become a very talented player! Mike continues to teach and inspire our son every week. We feel very blessed to have found him. Highly recommend!!
