Introduction: I provide in-home pet care, dog park visits and walks up to a mile. The in-home sitting I do because so many pet owners have concern over leaving a pet behind when gone from home, be it a day, weekend or longer.
We love our animals, and they love us. They are so sad to be alone and not with someone to show them care and love!

Karen is professional, courteous and is a great pet/house sitter. My two dogs and two cats were well taken care of while I was on my trip. She charges by each 24 hour period, and stayed at my house the whole time I was gone. It was great because she cleaned up my backyard after the dogs, cleaned litter boxes and took the dogs for walks. My neighbor even verified many times a day. That made me happy. She watered my plants, hosed my patio, picked up my mail, newspapers and packages. She is trustworthy and will stay at your house bringing her own food and linens placed over yours. My house was sparkling clean when I got home and my pets were relaxed too. That gave me peace of mind. I plan to hire Karen Cares again when I need to travel. I'm so glad I found her on here. Nice person and she did what she said she would do.

When I needed a caring, trustworthy, and reasonably priced sitter for my "baby" while I was out of town, Karen was the perfect choice.
She not only made sure my Ankou had fresh food & water every day, she also made sure he had plenty of outside time, play time, exercise time & cuddle time. My boy doesn't usually take well to strangers; which is why I asked Karen to meet us both at my home prior to hiring her. I needed to see how she interacted with him; and see how Ankou responded to her. Animals, as we all know, are excellent judges of character so when he went to her for a 'hello' pet I knew he would be in good hands.
I asked Karen for a daily text letting me know how he was doing. Karen not only did she text, she also sent me photos of my beloved boy, and even a couple of quick videos of him happily playing!
Next time I have to leave town I will absolutely calling Karen Cares again. I gave her 5⭐ because she deserves it. I absolutely would (and have) recommended her without qualms to watch over our furbabies.

Not knowing the specific job for which Karen is applying, I'm not sure which of her strengths to highlight. I can tell you that I have known Karen for more than 35 years, but I've been retired for several and have maintained contact with her. She is very professional and skilled. Karen is creative in developing efficient systems for managing individual and group projects. She is a great self-starter as well as a leader of a team. I have observed her in conflict management situations with adults and young people.
