We needed a small dog run dug out and new fill and turf put into a small area. The former homeowners had two dogs, and we have one, and in the summer that area was beyond smelly. Nothing we tried worked on the smell, so went to thumbtack to find a company to get it all dug out and turf replaced. Most companies won’t do small spaces as it’s not enough of a price tag to do the job. Rock N block was an absolute dream to work with. They came out quickly, gave us an estimate, explained the options and what they use to prevent the odor, and had the project done within 2 weeks. They were punctual, did high quality work, and even used some matching pavers to finish the transition from our landscaping, to the turf. It looks so much better and finally can enjoy the backyard! I would not hesitate to hire them again. Thanks guys!!

Personally, I think there was way too much emphasis on speed. Get it done. Get it done. The workmen worked so hard and so fast, and before I knew it, a new crew was here doing the next step. The last one - the landscaper - again, too much emphasis on speed and not quality. No top soil, no mulch, sprinklers were facing away from the flowers instead of toward the plants. I finally went to Star Nursery today and bought some mulch to protect the new plants from the sun, and retain some moisture. I shouldn't have to finish their job, but they were already working on the next job. Way too much emphasis on speed. It was like watching an invisible slave driver whipping those men. Faster, faster! One more complaint I have is that NONE of the workers spoke one sentence in English. I had a very hard time trying to explain something, or even offering one of them a water!

Eric was very helpful was able to work with my budget and pushed for early install. They have a three year warranty so I feel confident and comfortable choosing them for the project. Only recommendation is that when suggesting paver length to add additional inch so that they don’t cut small pieces to fit your plan.
