Very thorough and professional. Even cleaned up the bathroom after installing a faucet in my pedestal sink, which he didn't have to do. Worked very hard, very knowledgeable, reasonable pricing. I would definitely hire him again.
Let me tell you in was a total pleasure dealing with Gaitan's Drywall. We are in the process of remodeling our bathroom and needed new Sheetrock and Green Board installed. Moises and company did a superb job during the instatllation and texturing process. Every time I needed to call the company Flor was so responsive with returning all messages. I plan on two more remodels and will definitely use this fine company again. Their prices are extremely reasonable and they are a truly professional business.
I am so "Lucky" to have found Vic on Thumbtack. His knowledge and efficiency completing my list of "to-do's" was excellent. He arrived right on time and immediately got to work installing 2 ceiling fans and a bathroom vanity light. An added bonus is that his fees are very reasonable and fair. I know exactly who I will turn to for help from now on...thank you, Vic.
Arrived on time. Very friendly. Took him 1.5 hrs to mount the TV and run the wires. If I was a bit prepared, it would have taken less time. Helped out with a shower rod installation as well. I would work with him again.
We hired Diego to help remodel a kitchen and 2 bathrooms in Las Vegas. We are from Wisconsin so we found Diego on this website. All of his reviews were very positive and when we met him he was very nice and felt he was very competent. He always responded to us immediately. The granite that he installed in the kitchen and bathrooms were done well. We had some issues with the tile in the bathtub, but he came over and fixed the problem. He's a really nice guy but sometimes hard to understand when he talks too fast. Overall, we are happy with him and would recommend him.
I am in the process of selling my home. During the home inspection the large built in jetted tub in the master bathroom leaked extreme amounts of water into the garage. I called all over town and nobody wanted to help me. I explained my problem to Jasson and he came over the same day and was able to diagnose and fix the problem. Jason is just an excellent person and he will be the first person I call the next time I need a repair.
Hired them to do a number of jobs & I couldn't have been happier with the results! The jobs I had them do were as follows: painting the living room walls, the bathroom, kitchen cabinets and a few doors. I also had them to clean the living room carpet. Their work was terrific! The place literally has a much nicer feel when I walk in the front door. The work was done fast and efficiently. I'd highly recommend them, if you've got a few projects you need done at your home. Two thumbs way way up!
Joe is responsive, professional (but very friendly) and obviously takes great pride in his work. This job involved removing and replacing some pretty "vintage" bathroom fixtures. Thanks to Joe for a job well done!
I had several 'Honey Do' projects around the house from installing security doors, replacing a broken window, misc work in the bathroom, building and installing a water heater cover, etc. Randy was very professional from the first consultation, to estimates, fees and completed work. I have already hired him again and I'm sure he will be our 'go to' guy throughout the year. We're lucky to have him working in our home. Thanks Randy!
I accepted Gil's proposal based on the fact that he mentioned he had no overhead, like the bigger, more corporate companies, and therefore could be more fairly priced around my budget. I was very specific about everything I wanted to do, during our meeting, and I even wrote down an agreement with a list of everything I expected. I mentioned that I would like to physically go along with him to buy paints and baseboards, when it came time. We agreed on 30% upfront and 70% upon proper completion of all listed work. I'll list my experiences by positives and negatives: -Positives: Gil is quick to respond to messages and texts, he offered ideas as to how we could tackle the project. He's got a gentle soul, and he's a nice and respectful person. Our agreement in summary: Pop corn removal/texture application, includes planning, equipment, materials, area prep, roll/finish texture (Orange Peel) Every ceiling removed of pop corn. Wallpaper Removal/Glass removal. Includes everything plus setup and cleanup. Interior House Painting, scrape, sand, patch holes, defects, roll/spray or brush all walls, and all ceilings removed of wallpaper. Everything included, except cost of paint (which we were going to buy together) Knocking down 2 walls, to open up the rooms (Kitchen and livingroom/diningroom installing baseboards around the whole house. I gave him 30% as agreed. The first issue is, some wallpapers weren't removedas agreed, in the dining room, they were painted over instead, and when i realized this, I brought it up to Gil. He did rectify the issue, but I was sore at the fact that it wasn't done properly the first time around. The kitchen wall wasn't torn down and opened as I requested, and Gil mentioned that there was a load bearing issue. I feel others have done this successfully, and he should have been able to offer a solution, instead, we turned it into a window/bar situation, (which added costs, because now I had to hire someone else to make a bar, and i wasn't given a break on the price) The job took a lot longer than I was promised. I Hired gil on May 5th, and it wasn't completed until around the 19th. The master bedroom wasn't all done to satisfaction, because of some unforeseen circumstances, and all the mirrors which I'd mentioned to be disposed off, are still in my garage, and I believe Gil has left it up to me to dispose of them, which wasn't our agreement The spray painting was good enough, but every single door frame has paint unevenly bleeding into its edges. I don't feel proper prep time was dedicated to the edges and lines. I've had to hire someone else to come paint the frames, to clean them up. The wallpaper removal was very impressive, and I bet time consuming. He removed all the wallpaper as requested, the only issue I see with that is, the surface wasn't smoothed out properly, and some areas on the wall especially towards the floor, are a little rough. Altogether, commendable work. The baseboards weren't painted before installation, and I wasn't informed that this would make it difficult to paint, in the future. Having hired someone else to do the painting, it costs so much more. The installation was fantastic, everything fits, and everything is smooth, and properly caulked and ready for painting. I was never told when the paints were bought, yet, i had to reimburse for the purchases, and I still haven't found any of the cans. -The closets weren't prepped properly, and have uneven paint lines going to them, and at the corners and edges, the pop corn texture still shows. I think if they were not going to paint the closets, they should have covered it properly. Although some things were left in less than good condition, for the most part, everything was done beautifully, we didn't go over my budget, but we also took short cuts on some things that were agreed, mostly because I felt they took a little longer than I'd hoped, and by the end of it all, I was just ready for them to be done, so I could get back to my life. Overall, I'm satisfied with the job that was done, for the budget.
Jim did about 50 ft baseboard installation and painted. Very happy with his work He arrived promptly and is a great guy. He is a consummate pro
Painted cabinets for Kitchen and 2 Bathrooms, Living room and kitchen walls. Excellent work. Very polite and punctual which was appreciated. Would use Mike's services again and would recommend.
Josiah showed up on time and did a great job replacing a bathroom countertop and hardware. He also took away the old counter, all boxes and trash. Very pleased and will hire him again.
We had Robert do a whole house remodel. M&R services repaired Sheetrock damage in the home, painted the ceilings, walls, closet, garage. They installed baseboards, hardwood flooring (not laminate,) tile floors in the kitchen and bathrooms, and carpeting in the bedrooms. They also did an epoxy flooring in the garage. An extended set of double crown molding was installed. Six ceiling fans were installed and light fixtures throughout the house were updated. An evaporative cooling unit was installed in the garage. Kitchen cabinets were replaced with lights mounted underneath. I love the way the work was completed. Robert and his crew were polite and helpful in explaining the process. They were always on the lookout for small things which can hold up the process. I will utilize Robert and his crew on my next home project.
Dave did a fantastic job painting my bathroom. He showed up when he said he would, he works clean and did a nice job putting up a difficult color. He will be my go to for all sorts of projects around my house. Thanks, Dave!
Excellent job!!! Jessie is indeed a skilled painter. We had 3 bedrooms with trim and 3 doors painted. We needed patchwork for one bedroom and he did a thorough job without cutting corners!! We had carpet installed and he came back and repainted the trim because he said the carpet guys tear the trim up. He was right and those are the things we look for when hiring a painter. Painting "N At did such a great job we have hired them again to do 2 bathrooms for us with trim and much needed patchwork.
I had a number of projects around my new house that I needed help with and found Jeremy Bertrand of Knight Carpentry & Construction through Thumbtack. Jeremy was absolutely wonderful. He accomplished everything from moving curtain rods that had been hung in the wrong place to repairing walls with anchors left in them to installing a dimmer switch and bathroom fixtures. He was extremely punctual, polite and a perfectionist in his work. He's also very experienced in home building and remodeling and able to do all types of repairs and remodeling in the home. I highly recommend him.
Travis has done excellent work on all the jobs we have hired him for. His work ethic is outstanding, which includes showing up on time! Travis has installed baseboards, flooring, and bathroom cabinets. He's done drywall repairs, painting and general house repairs of all kinds; inside and out. I have used him as my "go-to guy" for about 3 years.
I really needed to update my tired old bathroom. Top Notch gave me floor to ceiling tile and crown molding. We weren’t able to find a small enough vanity for the space that had our desired double sink, so he fixed up the cabinet, added a granite top that is beautiful and bowl sinks with lovely high faucets.
I had C & L Enterprise remodel my bathroom. I had a new shower/tub installed as well as new flooring, backsplash, paint, and sinks. They did a good job. I am happy with the work.
Had wood floors and baseboards installed. Disappointed could not start the next day due to other commitments. Definitely worth the wait , my floors are beautiful! I highly recommend.
