Introduction

From lower end to high end, office furniture to residential cabinetry, quality is always my main focus. I will work my fingers to the bone to make your vision a reality. I never try and push my customers in any direction, just so I can save a few bucks. I have always thought, you have to live with it, so I need to make sure you love it. I have been working with wood most of my 45 years, and have made a lot of mistakes along the way. Luckily, I have learned from them, and what is left is some beautiful stuff.

Ken was amazing, he was able to take my idea and rough draft of my table and turn it into a beautiful reality. He asked me questions of what I wanted and gave me his professional opinion of options that would work well, and seem to have an actual interest in my project which made me feel like he cared about making it the best it could be and not just cranking it out. He kept me updated on the process of it being made and showed me pictures of the project during the process to keep me informed and to make sure I was happy with it as it was being built. He delivered it to my house across town and professional and polite the entire time. He then messaged me a few days later after he had already received the money and delivered the project to check that I was happy with the table, and when I had slightly damaged the corner while moving it into its final place he offered to drive out and fix the table even though it was outside of his responsibility. In short Ken was professional, experienced, and went above and beyond and made an amazing project that I am proud to own and show off.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
My father was a contractor, and got me in to building at a very young age. I have always had a passion for creating, and working with my hands.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I just completed office furniture for an engineering firm. It was fun because I got to work with a bunch of different materials, from HI-MACS hard surfaces and Formica work stations to wall murals and steel signs. Also, it doesn't hurt, I get to show off my work to all of their clients. The job took about 2.5 months, and came in on budget.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure you're comfortable with your provider. Meet with multiple contractors, and go with your gut. Whomever you choose, they have to be passionate about what they do.
