How does your service stand out?

My job is to get you to look better in your clothes whether it's losing fat or gaining muscle, I will get you to physically and mentally feel better about yourself and therefore walk about with confidence. You want to perform better with tasks or have more athleticism - I will get you to improve. With me as your trainer you'll get stronger and have more cardio-capacity. With over 25 years in the fitness industry I have the skills, experience, and know-how to improve your health and fitness.

What do you enjoy about the work you do?

I love the results my clients get by following a program designed specifically for them. Witnessing a client lose upwards to 60 lbs or more, gain muscle, improve performance, and enhance their life gives me my greatest pleasure.

    Hi. I started doing Roberts boot camps last April while he was here in NZ. They are great, always different, always challenging, they allow you to go at your own pace & challenge you to get better, fitter & stronger.
    Robert also does personal programmes for me & over the past year has been helping me train for walking events building my endurance mentally as well as physically. I am fitter & stronger than I have ever been.
    I started out with a 5k walk, progressed to 21ks & am now a month away from completing my next challenge being the Oxfam 50k Trailwalk. That's one kilometre for each year.?
    I will be able to do this thanks to Roberts help & support. I cannot recommend him highly enough.
    Each programme is tailor made to fit in with my lifestyle & to give me the greatest results for challenges.

    I've been training with Robert for 3 months now. My first month I trained with him in-person with 2 days of private training a week and 2 days in his bootcamp. Unfortunately,I moved after my first month of training with him, but I knew after that month I liked the results I was seeing with him and wanted to continue training with him. I approached him for online-training and we started that 2 months ago. I love the customized training plans he sends me each week and helps keep me motivated, especially those days I need an extra push. I've continued to see progress in my strength and appearance. I'm very happy training with Robert and looking forward to continue training with him!

Q. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

A. We believe that exercise and nutrition come hand-in-hand so we provide both a free nutritional consultation, fitness consultation and physical assessment. Afterwards we set up appointment days/times dependent upon your availability and affordability of sessions per week.

Q. What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

A. Over the years I have acquired 7 national and international certifications in personal training, strength and conditioning, nutrition, and group fitness. Through the 1990's I was the Assistant Director of Biomechanics for the National Academy of Sports Medicine certifying personal trainers worldwide.

Q. Do you have a standard pricing system for your service? If so, please share the details here.

A. 1-on-1 personal training rates vary from $50-$60 and is dependent upon how many sessions per week you are doing as well as which location you are being trained.
Small group personal training is also available at $35/session and consists between 2-4 individuals working together in the one-hour training session.
For our nutritional services we charge a standard $70 initial eating plan/program. All follow ups are only $50.

Q. What types of customers have you worked with?

A. I have worked with clients of all ages and needs. Here is an overview:
Ages - teens (13+) to adults to the senior population (oldest client was 104).
Sports and athletic conditioning
Post-rehabilitation and injury prevention
Special populations such as diabetes, high blood pressure, pregnancy, obesity, etc.
