- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do not have a standard pricing system. Every job, however, will be well below what the industry standard is for a comparable service. I understand that customers request service through thumbtack because they want a good deal. I provide that discounted quality service. There is a non-refundable $35.00 fee to travel to your location for a quote. The fee is waived if you chose me to do your project.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first thing that we do is submit a successful bid...I know that the reason people use thumbtack is to get a good deal. Next, I will conduct a phone interview to gather as much information as possible. Finally, I schedule the job with a confirmation call on the day before the job.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been building and repairing things for years. I saw the opportunity to open this business when I discovered thumbtack. I believe that quality service at a competitive rate will allow me to grow. I am a journeyman level cabinet builder. I did a lot of furniture assembly,drywall, molding, and floors for friends. It was the right thing at the right time for me to create this business.
