- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Handyman Services are by nature a complicated pricing system. As a customer you must realize, that even though there are "Common Problems" that come up for us all the time, no two projects can, or will be exactly the same. Our Free Estimates dissipate any uneasiness about project costs. On average an Initial Customer Service call will run about $70, and that provides you with about 2 hrs of Service. But we do strive to address all Service Problems in a timely manner. Smaller Projects can usually be handled then and there. Hourly, daily, and project pricing varies widely after that, depending on different variables. But again, there won't be any surprises to your budget at the end of the day. Variables such as Project Location, Traffic, Time Constraints (of both customer and service pro), Parts Availability, Age and Depth of Problem, Distance to closest Home Improvement or Parts Specialty Store, Urgency of Problem, Project Completion Time Estimates, and Emergency Services, will have an impact on today's handyman's pricing of projects. We at Handyman Services of Southern Nevada always offer free estimates and want to explain your problem to you. We believe it actually is better for you to understand your service and all options we can make available before work is started. There are never any "surprises" or major cost over runs when all parties understand what is needed and expected. We stand by our reputation and quality of work. We can GUARANTEE ALL of our labor, while still offering superior rates for outstanding service, because we care about getting the job done right.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Handymen in Las Vegas are a dime a dozen. Be sure to ask questions and understand the answers from your service provider. There are a lot of trade professionals out there that can do your project, but fewer that can and/or will do it right, and stand by their work. In most cases we offer Free Estimates, but please remember when hiring a Service Professional, that the good ones probably will have scheduled their appointments a few days or a week in advance. We do strive to address all Service Problems in a timely manner, but chances are the Good Ones might not be able to get to check out or repair most problems "today", unless it is an actual emergency. Sometimes it is, we know. . and we Respect You, Your Property, and your Business enough to act accordingly. Also, Please Remember that Las Vegas is still one of the fastest growing cities in America, and because of skyrocketing gas prices and our Lovely Las Vegas Traffic, some of your Better and Busier Companies may service different parts of the Valley on different days. Flexibility regarding any Project Timing, Bundling Smaller Tasks Together, , and Appointment Scheduling can save you lots of money and Emergencies.... well they usually cost more.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
As we Strive to Offer Better Service to EVERY customer, flexibility on both parties becomes more important. Scheduled Appointments may sometimes have to be pushed back a bit or even sometimes rescheduled. Remember, we are coming to you. Not the other way around. Traffic NEVER Cooperates with us. Sometimes we have to bring our entire shop to your house. Often Customers, like yourself, if not this trip, then someday believe me you will, have us tackle an extra chore or two around the house before we leave. Our being late occasionally is mostly about Customer Satisfaction It's not that the next appointment isn't important... Just Please Remember we are coming TO YOU. And just trying our Best to get there on time.
