FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first course of action and what I believe is the most important is the consultation. It is so valuable to go in and assess the situation, get to know my client, and make sure we will be a good fit for each other. Sometimes there will be other organizers that can do a better job in specific areas that I may not be as experienced in. If that’s the case I will refer other organizers!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Experience! After not only learning from and failing multiple times in my own home, I have helped multiple clients overcome and conquer their piles of clutter. When you have been in the same shoes as your client you can effortlessly empathize with their situation. I believe that is more valuable than any course that is available to aspiring organizers.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
After struggling personally, and ultimately finding the answers after years of trial and error I felt a calling to help others. Specifically, mothers who are feeling overwhelmed and unhappy. Not being able to enjoy your kids because the never ending list of “to-do’s” is not how motherhood is intended to be. Decluttering and simplifying not only changed my life but the life of my children.
