FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We have set pricing for many things, which are all very affordable and competative. Anything else outside the scope of that pricing falls under the general labor fee of $45 an hour unless we are asked for a quote. We are very fast and efficient and often we don't bill for all the hours that we work because we know that people are often on a budget. We also accept payment plans for people who need it by giving people the chance to be trusted, which is something many companies never do.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am always constantly learning and taking training courses on the latest technologies. Some are offered through my business partners and vendors, while others are from manufacturers or just you tube videos. I never stop learning. What i learn, I then turn around and train my techs who work for me. I often teach them hands on in the workshop here at our headquarters in Eugene, Oregon.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Well i guess i have been around it every since i was a kid, back when the first computers first came out, but i don't think i really thought about it as a career until i was a teenager and my mother was going to college to be a secretary. When i found out that i could type faster than she could, i think that's when i decided that i wanted to be a tech, and i started learning from other techs. Later i went to college and graduated the course at the top of my class with honors. I've been doing it every since.
