Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: My work stands out from others for two reasons: passion and persistence. Every actor and teacher has a passion for their work, the hard part is breaking down the work step-by-step and literally "unpacking" the tools of making a character come alive; with my training background, I have the versatility and professionalism to take a character to heart & exploration and make the character my own. When other actors and teachers order you to do something they see, they forget to ask what the actor feels they want to do. An actor may not be experienced, but they're still people and some people have good instincts. I enjoy helping so many people who are not necessarily looking to become better actors, but people who are looking to improve their public speaking skills, improve their self-esteem, improve their view on themselves and I believe acting really helps for it explores people's inner monologues, thoughts, hopes, and dreams alike.

Alex is a fantastic Acting coach. I had never attempted acting in my life and he created a comfortable atmosphere and motivated me to give it my all. He gives wonderful techniques and allows for creativity. I would recommend him to anyone.
Acting Lessons

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I keep my standard price at $25/hour. but start off with a trial lesson of $20/hour to see if I fit the students teaching needs. Most parents and the given public do not believe an acting instructor/vocal instructor should be paid maybe more than $14/hour. Everyone is entitled to what they want/need to pay to stay within their personal budget and I don't encourage students to spend money they don't have, but with most professionals, they have the knowledge, experience, and reliability to charge at least $30/hour. Acting may not seem absolutely difficult as say the piano, but people who study acting are trying to find the way out of their comfort zone, they just do not know how. In a way, it is discovering your own self and an acting coach is one person that just listens and is there to help someone through that journey so they will not lose confidence, their dream, or work habits.
