- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Yes. Basic repairs have individual prices depending on the service. I charge $30 per hour so the price for each service usually runs about the same or less, There' s a $20 charge tacked on for house calls I don't mark up parts. Seniors get 1/3 off labor cost if I charge my hourly rate, or 15% off if I go by my price list. And I cap at $300 - including most parts.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I sit down and listen to them describe their pc issue (s), Maybe have them show me while I have them there with their pc. Then I go over my process for repairing the pc. I have a few forms for them to sign and we're good to go!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I keep up with the different tech sites. I will eventually earn more certifications but I'm not planning on starting anything until next year.
