Cindy was amazing! She was so knowledgable, as long as you listen and do your homework with your pup... Your dog training should go great! She started working with my puppy when she was about 4 months old.. She is now 6 months old and listens to every cue I give her! I honestly can't thank her enough. She even came to my house to see Bailey in her natural environment.

Cindy was very knowledgeable and helpful with regards to my dog training needs. I look forward to working with her further. Her observations and suggestions have already helped me to modify my behavior with my dog and as a result I have already seen improvement in his behavior. Thanks so much for getting me in touch with her.

I was so satisfied having Cindy come to my house. She was extremely knowledgeable about training dogs and showed me ways to correct JoJo's behavior. I would highly recommend Bearon's Legacy to anyone having issues with their dog.

I can't say enough positive things about Sarah Todd and the help she provided in the area of dog training for our problem. She came to our house and met our dogs and instructed us in a variety of ways about how to deal with the difficulties we were having with one of our dogs with regard to her (the dog) reactions to other dogs and certain other triggers that caused her to show aggression. Sarah was very patient and understanding providing insight into the reasons for our problem. In a very short time we have noticed a great deal of improvement in our dog. We would highly recommend Sarah as a dog trainer and behaviorist to anyone who needs these kind of services.

We have a 10 months old French Bulldog that was showing some kind of general disobedience and misbehaving especially when we had strangers in the house, so we decided to look for help. Sarah was great from the first e-mail/call to the actual dog training session. She seems to know a lot about dogs and we can definitely see improvements in his behavior after we started doing what Sarah taught us. Her notes after the session were very detailed and even the books she recommended us have been very helpful to continue his training.

Sarah responded quickly to our request for help and guidance in training our puppy. She spent several hours with us on her visit. She outlined the program for training and her rational for training. This is a different method than we used in the past with two other dogs. Her methods made sense as they are based on behavior modification of both owner and dog Bryan & Kathy

I started with Lynnae with puppy training. I am now on my 3rd group training. Lynnae is an amazing teacher. She has/is trained me to train my dog. I have learned more than I ever expected and she helps you understand the dogs thought process. She is patient and always willing to help with individual problems. The training stays positive at all times. I highly recommend Lynnae for individual or group lessons.

Lynnae is amazing!! She is patient, positive and really helped me understand how to work with my dog. My dog was super excited every time he saw Lynnae. He loved "practicing" with her! I would highly recommend Lynnae to anyone who is interested in not only training their dog but understanding them too!

I took my new young dog for a private lesson with Melinda. We were already taking beginner agility lessons in a class at local dog club.. but Melinda's one-on-one was tailored for me and my dog. I've been trialing in agility for 13 years ... but Melinda has taught me new and better ways to train and practice. She is up to date on the latest techniques. She is over an hour drive for me, but well worth it.

Melinda is a perfect example of a great teacher. She is kind and supportive with positive reinforcement training methods. She is incredibly patient with dogs and their not so coordinated parents. If you want a trainer with compassion, knowledge and patience, with a keen sense of what you and your dog need, choose Melinda.

For as long as I can remember my sister has wanted to work with animals. When we adopted a rowdy German Shorthaired Pointer named Roscoe, she began taking him to training and quickly realized that this was something she was passionate about. She dedicated herself and consistently won junior handler at obedience shows. Alyssa has taken that passion and made it into a career choice. She loves dogs, and works with each one as an individual to ensure the best training regimen for that animal is applied rather than a one-size-fits-all plan. I frequently consult her about training and other concerns I have for my GSP. I would highly recommend Alyssa for your dog training needs. You and your pup will love her!

Jenn helped my husband and me in dealing with and managing our aggressive dog, and eventually helped us in coping with the loss of him. After that, Jenn never lost touch, checking in with us to see how we were doing and even inviting us to watch a Search and Rescue training with her team (to this day one of the coolest, most impressive things I've ever witnessed). What we didn't realize was that Jenn would not only help us in dealing with the early loss of our pet, but she would help us become better dog owners. She has taught us everything from animal behavior to human behavior, how to effectively communicate with our canine companions, and how to lead a happy, balanced life with them. What impresses me about Jenn is not only her professionalism when meeting with clients, but her energy, passion and knowledge for dogs and helping others. Jenn spent countless hours with us offering us advice, pointing out to us what she was seeing in our dog and why it was happening, and what we could do to modify the behavior. Jenn takes a genuine, caring interest in the dogs she trains and the families she helps. I simply cannot put a price tag on what Jenn has done for my family (2-legged and 4-legged). If you are noticing issues in your dog, or are just interested in learning more about dog behavior (and in turn human behavior), I would not hesitate in the slightest to recommend Jenn to anyone and everyone. Don't bother looking anywhere else - the quality of her service is unrivaled!!

Jennifer was very knowledgeable in all areas of training. She helped us with leash aggression and commands. Our dog Andy was very aware of her presence from the very moment she entered our house. It was quite amazing to see how he respected and listened to her. I would highly recommend her for any training needs.

Ejay Eisen is the best thing that ever happened to my pack, fondly known as the Pack of Sables. Butchie and Zami are lovely little beasts, but when we walk down the street, they turn into mongrels, going crazy over everything and everyone. I've been struggling a long time, trying to get them to listen to me, but thanks to Ejay, I now understand that it is what I am communicating without words that is actually the problem. We've taken numerous walks with Ejay and each time, I learn more about my own energy, and what and how I am communicating that nervous energy to my dogs, through my own body and their leash. I have a lot of work to do, but thanks to Ejay and Rufftranslating.com, there is a solution to honing in on actual canine leadership skills required to maintain a zen relationship with my pooches.

Great Trainers that are always willing to help. My dog is a different dog after attending classes at the APF. She is much more obedient and manageable. The bond I have with my dog is now stronger then ever and a large part of that is because of the APF Classes

Kevin and his son, Kyle both cared for my 10 month old puppy and were great with him. They were in contact with me while I was away to give me updates, and my neighbor contacted me to tell me how impressed she was by the amount of time they spent playing in the yard with my puppy. Kevin and Kyle are dog lovers, and it felt great to know that our puppy was in their care in my absence. Excellent experience.

About

I am originally from Rochester, New York. I've been training dogs for over five years. The main thing that I have learned in doing this is to be patient. Some dogs can be trained faster than others. It really depends on the breed, but all dogs are trainable. You just have to know and use their own instincts that they are born with. I train dogs that are not housebroken, jumping on people, biting, barking, and pulling when you walk them. I can also teach commands depending what your needs are and what you want from your pet. I can come to you or you to me, whichever makes you comfortable. I am looking forward for all of you dog lovers out there to contact me, so you can have control for your family member and not have family, friends or guests be afraid to enter your home or even to lock your family member away when you do have visitors.

About

Many people train their pets, or at least attempt to. But I go beyond that. I love dogs and want to do what I can to make living with them as easy as I can. A lot of people get frustrated because their dog pulls to much when they walk them, or because it won't learn to sit or lay down. I want to alieviate that frustration. I have trained many dogs, both my own and friends and they are amazed. When new people come over and see how many tricks/commands my dogs know and how well behaved they are they say how shocked they are. I own large dogs and I always get people that are scared because of their size. I promise them that they will do nothing other than sniff you, lick you, and wait for you to pet them. By the end of the evening, most want to take them home. I enjoy working with dogs, so I don't see it as a job that needs to be done, but a job that yes, needs to be done, but that I love every minute doing.

Buster attended doggy book camp for 2 weeks which made a huge difference in his behavior. We've worked with him diligently. This is something new, he charges people walking past our house (the driveway is 1/4 of a mile) and has nipped people on our property - men. He's a rescue from a high kill shelter in the south. We're very concerned we may be forced to put him down, but he's not at all vicious or really aggressive. I think its important the trainer see him in his own environment
