Working with Key Tha Geniuz has made me a better artist, and a better person. Key is extremely determined to see the vision of the artist that he is working with through, and will not mark anything as final until the artist is 100% satisfied. Recording can be a very rewarding experience for an artist when there is a great takeaway from the performance, but when times are stressful, and things aren’t going as planned, Key will be the engineer to calm you down and put you back in the correct headspace to continue. Every time I needed a booster or needed the advice that would improve my artistry, he’d always have some wise words to offer, and he kept pushing because he finds the potential in all people. One day, I had been frustrated about not getting a verse done the way I envisioned it, and I told him that I would pay him what they pay at his job if he stayed. Without hesitation, Key continued on with me for a 14 hour session so we can break through the frustration and make progress in the song. He is relentless, and there is no doubt that he loves what he does. Receiving a mix and a master from this man was like receiving gifts on Christmas morning; the feeling was always brand new no matter how many times it happened, and I was never disappointed. I highly recommend his services, and name you lucky if you have the pleasure of working with him.
