- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Every lesson with a new client begins with a conversation. I want to know your goals, your background, and WHY you want to learn to sing! It so vital that I learn about you so that we can make a plan to achieve your goals together!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I received my Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance from the University of Michigan in 2016. There, I received extensive training in basic vocal function and technique, learned the basics of Italian and German(I am fluent in French), and studied and performed Opera and Musical Theater. After graduating, I began to experiment more intensely with pop, rock, and jazz. I have four years of teaching experience, teaching beginners to touring professionals!
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
When I graduated, I sought a steady "day job" in the Marketing field, working with French-Canadian agencies. But I quickly learned that I was not fulfilling my creative spirit, and longed to immerse myself in music. I took the plunge and began building a studio, from one student to 30 a year later. Teaching gives me so much joy and energy, and makes me a better singer!
