Jake's Learning to Draw for All Ages

Introduction: My name is Jake, and I am a classically-trained drawing instructor with specialty in portraiture and figure drawing with a great variety of materials including pencils, colored pencils, pastels, charcoal, and more. My goal as an instructor is to be laid back, yet hands on. Art and learning should be both a fun and educational experience in which students always feel comfortable. Over the past three years, I have put my B.F.A education to use by teaching hundreds of students with my easy-to-learn step-by-step lessons. In my non-judgmental environment, you will learn that you are capable of creating artwork that will surprise and enlighten you! My experience ranges from working in every atmosphere from elementary schools, after school programs, teen summer camps, casual adult art classes, and academic adult studio classes.
