Denise M. says, "The customer support staff at StookU have been exceptional. When I have a problem, they are quick to respond with a solution, they give timely reminders, help with tech problems (though it's always on my end), take care of scheduling issues and are extremely courteous and thorough in all the services they provide. The company itself provides vocal and instrumental lessons and mentoring. They are a young company and relatively small, though expanding, and everything that I've seen so far - from their coaches and mentors to the sites/platforms, which foster a great community feeling, to the aforementioned customer service - have been well thought out, helpful and effective."See more

Ruben Aldana says, "Its been an incredible experience to have Eli as my jazz piano teacher. Ive been able to see concepts much faster than learning on my own. He has profound knowledge and is incredibly talented. He also listens very intently to what Ive been trying to accomplish and does not withhold knowledge. I absolutely recommend him as a teacher. Great person too."See more

Tay B. says, "I highly recommend Tiffany! She has been wonderful with my son, Xander. She is incredibly patient, encouraging, and supportive, and she creates such a positive and comfortable learning environment. I really appreciate the way she takes the time to work with him at his pace while still encouraging him to challenge himself and try new things. Xander genuinely enjoys his lessons with her, and I’m excited to see his continued growth and progress. We’ve had such a great experience and are very happy to continue working with her!"See more

Katie C. says, "I had a piano lesson with Dr. Kreeger and we worked together brushing up on piano technique I had lost over the years. Dr. Kreeger was very fast at responding to my request in the Thumbtack app and we were able to set a date and time quickly and efficiently. Our lesson was via Zoom and he watched me play a couple of different pieces I was learning on my own. He was able to encompass all areas of playing piano that if practiced consistently, would help improve my technique over time. We discussed everything from proper posture and set up, body mechanics, and to how to best stylize phrasing of some of the music I was learning. I appreciated his approach to technique and how to practice; he was able to tailor the lesson to meet my specific needs and help me practice more effectively. I hope I can work with him again in the future and would highly recommend him if you are also looking to take piano lessons!"See more

Jackson R. says, "Rosemary has been such a great singing teacher to work with. I really appreciate how comfortable she makes the lessons feel while still pushing me to improve. I came into the singing lessons wanting to get better control over my voice, and she’s helped me understand my vocal technique in a way that finally makes sense to me. I especially like that the lessons are adjusted to what I need rather than feeling like the same thing every time. We’ve worked on different singing exercises, technique, and applying everything while actually singing songs. I’ve also found the online format really convenient because I can fit my lessons around my schedule. The first lesson being a trial was also helpful because I could see if the tutor and teaching style were a good fit before committing. I’ve learned a lot about my voice and feel much more confident with my singing than when I started."See more

Reviews for Bronx easy piano lessons teachers on Thumbtack

From Elliot R.

David Chang Music - Online and Brooklyn, NY
David Chang Music - Online and Brooklyn, NY
David is real professional. When you have your first lesson, david will discuss your playing, your long term and shor term goals, and what you expected from all lessons moving forward. David's advice and methodologies are VERY effective. Like many other reviews say. I can see how his other beginner students are playing hard piano pieces. His methodologies are based on scientific findings and is based on science. It's not just a random thing he made up without any backing to it. You are encourage to play your favorite song at the hardest level even if you are a beginner at piano and using his methodologies, you will be impressive how far you will accomplish. That's if YOU pratice at least 2-3 hours a day using his methodologies. But, David is understanding if you can't practice that long because not everyone has the open availability to practice that long each day. Each week he will ask you if you practiced and if you say you didn't have the time to do so, you can hear in his voice and attitude that he really cares that you practice. He does not brush it off like "Ok whatever". His mannerisms, passion, piano skills, methodologies, and and his professionalism set him apart from the rest. If you are a beginner and it is your first instrument, I want you to contact David right away and even if you are experienced piano player you will benefit as well. I have only been playing for about 3-4 months and already completed more than 10 short term piano pieces and 1 and a half pages of demons by image dragons at the advanced level and 5 pages(full song, easy version) of perfect by ed sheeran(I wish I would have picked the intermediate version if perfect, since I now know his methodologies are very effective) . If you were to look the demons piano music sheet that I have you would know that a beginner should not be playing this song and is incapable to learning such a piece because of the difficulty of the song and me being a beginner. Or you would assume that I have been playing for years HaHa! Using David's methodologies with demons, I was able to play the first page in a couple of weeks. I still need to learn on balancing and shaping to be more musically when playing piano.

David is the man you go to to start or advanced your piano playing.
