To Dr. Sofa,
This is just to let you know what an incredible job you did on my vintage sofa.
I purchased this 1960s piece several years ago from a dealer in Sag Harbor, NY.
I loved it when I found it as it was well made and had an unusual wood structure that was striking for Danish mid-century furniture. At one point my teen-age son and his 2 friends were sitting on it and they apparently broke the front leg.
Over several months, the joints all seemed to loosen gradually until the sofa was held together with leather laces! I tried to sell the broken sofa, as is, on Craigs list but I could not. I had also spent a fortune on re-upholstery. I found Dr. Sofa after doing some research on-line.
You gave me an estimate on the phone after looking at photos. The job turned out to be so much more complex than you thought, as the entire sofa needed re-hab!
You explained the issues to me and did not even charge me more that your initial estimates.
You went above and beyond the job expected and I thank you for your great effort.
It looks fabulous and I will have it a long time.

Dr. Sofa not only does and excellent job with disassembly but they are a full service furniture company. Dr. Sofa repairs tables, chairs, headboards, any furniture you could thing of! They also do amazing work with upholstery. Dr. Sofa has a green line and makes custom furniture as well. Another awesome service Dr. Sofa offers is furniture redesign. This is great if you have a sectional sofa and move to a new place where the room requires a smaller sofa or an opposite layout. Dr. Sofa will fix the problem and make it look like new and fit perfectly! Wonderful!!!!!!
