Introduction

I understand how tough it can be to ask for help when struggling academically. I will work with you to pin point where you are having difficulty, specify a goal, and give you the tools to master the subject matter. I started tutoring high school and GED students as a way to give back to my local community. I immediately fell in love with empowering students to conquer topics that they previously struggled with. In 2016 I began working as a peer tutor at the Manhattan College Center for Academic Success, where I recieved CRLA tutoring certification, helped train new tutors, and helped in the center's transition to offer online sessions. In May 2020 I earned a B.S. in Mathematics and a B.S. in Computer Science from Manhattan College. I currently offer tutoring services for mathematics courses, as well as writing, reviewing, and editing.

Sam has been nothing short of fantastic with my son. When I first used her my son had a test coming up. He just didn't understand how to do the work to get the answer. After his first tutoring session with Sam he received a 100 on his test. She was able show him in a way that made it easier for him to understand. I have used Sam again since then and I will continue to use her in the future.
